Polyfibre Track Force Replacement Grip (Silver)

£2.99

The Polyfibre Track Force replacement grip is a base grip, the layer that goes directly on the racket handle, for players whose original grip has gone flat, torn or smooth and who want a dry, firm feel underneath their overgrip.

It's silver with an embossed Polyfibre pattern, sold singly without a blister pack. You can play on it as it is, or wrap an overgrip on top as most padel players do.

When a racket needs a new base grip

Overgrips are cheap and you change them often. The base grip underneath lasts much longer, but it does wear: the cushioning flattens, the edges peel, and the handle starts to feel thin or lumpy through your overgrip. That's when a replacement like Track Force earns its place. Padel Shack describes a dry, non-slip surface with a firm feel, good sweat absorption and less vibration, in an extra-long length so it covers the whole handle.

Polyfibre doesn't publish a thickness. A new base grip will often feel a touch fuller than the tired one it replaces.

Bullpadel's GR-1210 replacement grip does the same job in Bullpadel's colours. If you want something different under the overgrip altogether, the Hesacore grip replaces the base grip with a honeycomb sleeve.

Fitting it

Unwind and peel off the old grip, clean any glue left on the handle, then wrap the Track Force from the butt upwards with a small, even overlap and finish with tape. Put a fresh overgrip on top, such as Polyfibre's Omnigrip or the thinner Feel It. Our padel grip page explains overgrips and base grips side by side, and Solinco's tennis-sold Dura-Cush is a thicker cushioned base option.

Not for you if

Your base grip is fine and you only need fresh tack; an overgrip is quicker and costs less effort.

Polyfibre Track Force Replacement Grip (Silver): questions people ask

Is the Polyfibre Track Force an overgrip?

No. It's a replacement base grip that goes directly on the handle; you can put an overgrip on top.

When should I replace my padel racket's base grip with a Track Force?

When the old base grip has flattened, torn or started peeling, so the handle feels thin or uneven through your overgrip.

Polyfibre Track Force or Bullpadel GR-1210?

Both are replacement base grips. Track Force has a dry, firm, embossed feel in silver; the GR-1210 is Bullpadel's own.

Does the Polyfibre Track Force come in a blister pack?

No, it's sold as a single grip without a blister pack.
