Bullpadel GR-1210 Grip (Replacement Grip, Black and White)

A padel handle has two layers of tape. The base grip goes on first, straight onto the handle, and gives the shape and cushioning; the thin overgrip goes on top and takes the sweat and wear. Most players change the overgrip every few weeks and never think about the base grip until it's compressed flat, the edges of the handle have gone soft, or it's started to peel. That's when the GR-1210 comes in.

The pack, printed in Spanish, calls it a "grip reemplazo" with maximum grip, comfort and durability and claims it softens knocks and vibration. Padel Nuestro adds that it's light and suits any racket whose grip is worn out. Neither gives a thickness.

If a fresh overgrip still feels hard and thin in the hand, or you can feel the edges of the handle less than you used to, the base grip has had it. Replacing it also resets grip size, which is useful if two or three old overgrips have been layered on over the years. Peel the old base grip off and clean any leftover adhesive from the handle. Start at the butt cap with the tapered end, keep a small, even overlap as you wind up, and finish just above the top of the handle with the tape provided. Then put an overgrip on top: the fluorescent pink GB-1201 or any other we list.

Padel handles are roughly the same size across brands, so a standard replacement grip fits most frames, from the Bullpadel rackets to anything else in our padel racket range.
