What hoops add
Hoops make you place each foot in a target rather than a gap, so a drill can be one foot in, two feet in or a hop out, and the colours let a partner call the sequence. The interlocking design means you can lay out lines, grids or a zigzag.
For a straight run with adjustable gaps, the Precision adjustable speed ladder is the rung version.
Using them for padel
Footwork is a big part of padel, because the walls keep points alive and you reposition constantly. These do not teach technique, but short drills can warm the feet up, and Toolz's agility grid is a hexagon alternative. Our padel accessories range has other small kit, and a Babolat drinks bottle is worth having beside the ladder.
Who should skip it
Anyone who wants a padel-specific drill product or has no clear floor space. See the padel racket range if you are still choosing kit, and our guide to choosing a padel racket for the basics.
Not for you if
You want a ladder with fixed rungs and adjustable spacing. This is a hoop set.
