Signum Pro Tour Grip (Single Overgrip)

£1.25

The Signum Pro Tour grip is a single, very thin overgrip for players who want to feel the handle through the wrap. Listings for the Tour line give 0.50 mm, describe the feel as very thin, extremely grippy and sweat-absorbing, and name a synthetic, perforated band.

It is a tennis product and an older one, and the sellers use Tour Grip and Overgrip Tour for the same line, so some of what follows comes from the related listing. No length or width is published.

  • Single overgrip
  • 0.50 mm
  • Very thin
  • Perforated synthetic band
  • Several colours
  • Length not stated

What the listings say about the Tour grip

There is no tidy brand page here, so the facts are scattered. A German retailer listing gives the thickness as 0.50 mm, and the same seller says the wrap is very thin, extremely grippy and absorbs sweat. Amazon's entry names a synthetic band that is perforated, and a retailer says a PVC film protects the surface until you peel it off. The eBay listing says it is made in Taiwan.

That fits the description of a thin tour-style overgrip: little cushioning, a lot of handle feedback, and holes to help with moisture. Colours listed include black, white, yellow, orange, blue and grey.

How thin is thin?

At 0.50 mm it sits level with the Bullpadel overgrip and just under the Babolat My overgrip and the perforated Signum Pro Micro, both at 0.55 mm. The HEAD Padel Pro wrap is a little thicker at 0.6 mm, and the Signum Pro Performance matches it.

For a thinner, dry alternative, see the Wet Grip Pro at 0.45 mm. A thin wrap wears through sooner and gives less cushion, so it suits players with a large enough handle who want feel, and not anyone with a tender hand.

Wrapping and changing it

Peel the film, start at the butt end and wrap upward with a slight overlap, then finish with the tape. A thin wrap shows a worn base grip, so check the handle underneath. Change it when it goes shiny and loses its tack.

See all padel grips, fit a racket protector and look at the padel racket and padel balls ranges. Small kit is on the padel accessories page.

Who should skip it

Players who want a cushioned wrap, anyone who needs a published length, and buyers who want a padel-made grip. It is a thin, older tennis overgrip.

Not for you if

You want cushioning or a confirmed length. The Tour is a very thin wrap, and part of its spec comes from a related listing.

Signum Pro Tour Grip (Single Overgrip): questions people ask

How thick is the Signum Pro Tour grip?

Listings for the Tour line give 0.50 mm. The figure comes from the related Overgrip Tour listing.

Is the Signum Pro Tour grip the same as the Overgrip Tour?

Sellers use both names for the same thin overgrip line. Check the pack on your order.

Is the Signum Pro Tour grip perforated?

Amazon lists it as a synthetic perforated band.

Can you use the Signum Pro Tour grip on a padel racket?

It is sold as a tennis overgrip, but a wrap does the same job on a padel handle.

How often should I change a Signum Pro Tour grip?

When it goes shiny and the tack fades. A thin wrap wears through sooner than a thick one.
