Signum Pro Performance Overgrip (3 Pack)

£3.50

The Signum Pro Performance overgrip is a pack of three tacky woven wraps for players with hands that sweat. Tennis Warehouse Europe lists 0.60 mm, calls the material extra tacky and absorbent, and positions it for people who sweat a lot and want a sticky grip.

It is a tennis-origin overgrip and the listing does not mention padel, but a handle is a handle. No length, width, weight or perforation is stated, so we say what is published and where it sits against the padel overgrips we cover.

What the listing says about the Performance

The material is woven, tacky and, in the retailer's words, extra tacky and absorbent. The positioning is simple: this is the grip for players who sweat a lot and like a sticky feel. The 3-pack we read is green, and the range also comes in black and white in a 30-pack.

Unlike the Micro, the listing does not mention perforation, so the absorbency is claimed for the material itself. It is the same 0.60 mm as the HEAD Pro, which is a medium-thin wrap rather than a thick cushioned one.

Performance, Micro or Tour?

Signum Pro sells three overgrips in this range. The Signum Pro Micro is thinner at 0.55 mm with perforation for moisture, and the Tour grip is thinner again at 0.50 mm. The thin, dry Wet Grip Pro is the other sweat answer. For heavy sweaters, the Performance is the one the retailer points to.

Among padel overgrips, the closest in thickness is HEAD's 0.6 mm Padel Pro wrap. A thinner pick is the Babolat My overgrip, and a thicker one is the Raquex Evade Pro. For a big pack, there is the Black Crown 12-pack.

From a retailer listing; Signum Pro does not publish a padel spec sheet we could find. A 30-pack has its own listing.

Wrapping and changing it

Start at the butt end, wrap upward with a slight overlap and finish with the tape. A sticky wrap wears faster in a wet hand, so a heavy sweater should expect to change it often, whatever the pack says. When it goes shiny and the tack fades, it is done.

See all padel grips, fit a racket protector and take a look at the padel racket and padel balls ranges. Small kit is on the padel accessories page.

Who should skip it

Players with dry hands who want the thinnest wrap, anyone who needs a stated length, and buyers who want a padel-specific product.

Not for you if

You want the thinnest wrap or a stated length. The Performance is 0.60 mm and sold for heavy sweaters, and nothing says it is made for padel.
