Signum Pro Wet Grip Pro Overgrip (0.45 mm, 3 Pack)

£4

The Signum Pro Wet Grip Pro is a pack of three very thin overgrips, listed at 0.45 mm, for players with hands that sweat. Tennis Warehouse Europe describes a thin, dry material that helps keep a secure grip, says it improves as it gets wetter, and aims it at people who sweat a lot.

That makes it the opposite of the tacky Signum wraps, and the thinnest of them. The retailer's page also refers to it as the Race overgrip, which matches some of our own listings. No length, width or perforation is stated.

What the listing says about the Wet Grip Pro

The Wet Grip Pro does the reverse of a tacky overgrip. Instead of a sticky surface it uses a thin, dry material, and the retailer says the grip actually gets better as it gets wetter. For a player who sweats through a wrap in the first set, that is a different trade: less stick when dry, more security when drenched.

At 0.45 mm it adds almost nothing to the handle. The 3-pack we read is white, and the same product has a 30-pack listing of its own.

Dry or tacky?

Most padel overgrips are tacky, and the Signum Pro range gives a clean choice. The Tour grip is thin and grippy at 0.50 mm, the perforated Micro is 0.55 mm, and the Performance 3-pack is the extra tacky 0.60 mm wrap. The Wet Grip Pro is the only dry one.

Among padel rivals, a tacky choice at similar thickness is the Bullpadel overgrip at 0.5 mm, and HEAD's 0.6 mm pro wrap is the standard tacky reference. Whether a dry wrap suits you is a feel question, so it is worth trying a pack before a box.

Wrapping it, and what to expect

Wrap from the butt end with a slight overlap and finish with the tape. A very thin dry wrap shows the base grip beneath, so check it first, and expect to feel the handle edges. It will wear sooner than a thicker wrap, so keep a spare in the bag.

See all padel grips, fit a racket protector and look at the padel racket and padel balls ranges. Small kit is on the padel accessories page.

Who should skip it

Players who like a sticky, cushioned wrap, anyone who needs a stated length, and buyers who want a padel-made grip.

Not for you if

You want a tacky or cushioned wrap. The Wet Grip Pro is 0.45 mm and dry, and nothing in the listing says it is made for padel.
