StarVie Triton Balance Plus Padel Racket

£151

The StarVie Triton Balance Plus padel racket is the more manageable of StarVie's two Triton diamonds, for advanced and intermediate-plus players who want powerful shots without the hardest feel. Padelful scores it 8.9 for both power and control, and lists an 18K carbon face, a medium-hard M-EVA Balance core and a high balance. Padelgids gives 358 g with a tolerance of 8 g and a 38 mm profile.

It is the 2026 racket. Padelful's verdict is a serious attacking racket that still rewards placement and stability at the net, and that is a poor fit for players who scramble or want a forgiving, defence-first feel.

How the Triton Balance Plus plays

Padelful praises strong overhead power, stable, heavy net volleys and a controlled, biting bandeja. Power and control both score 8.9, rebound is 8.5, and the sweet spot is 8.0, so the racket gives you pace without losing the ball. It rewards a player who takes the ball early and hits it with intent.

The price is mobility. Padelful notes that defence demands early preparation, that transitions are limited by the head-heavy shape and that rushed off-wall play suffers. Handling is 7.3, the lowest of the six numbers. This is a racket for the net and the front half of the court, and the back wall is where it is least comfortable.

Specs and technology

Padelgids lists a diamond head, a high balance, though its intro says medium-high, and an 18K Carbon Hybrid face over an M-EVA Balance core. StarVie's technologies include a TriTech Core with a triple-layer bridge, Five Sides Tech for an angular frame, a Spin Boost textured surface, an Anatomic Bridge Design, a longer handgrip and a Z-Shock anti-vibration grip.

The page calls it made for advanced players seeking powerful shots with a more manageable feel, which is the brief. Padelful lists weights of 350 and 365 with no unit, which sits around Padelgids' figure. We have not seen a StarVie sheet or a balance in millimetres.

Balance Plus or Power Plus?

The Triton Power Plus is the harder racket, with a hard H-EVA Power core. On Padelful's 2026 pages it scores 10 for power and 9.6 for control against the Balance Plus's 8.9 and 8.9, while the Balance Plus is livelier off the face, with rebound 8.5 against 7.5. If you find the Power too demanding, the Balance is the answer.

The Raptor Plus is a medium-balance teardrop for advanced players, and the Black Titan is StarVie's other hard hitter. Our diamond padel rackets page compares the shape across brands.

Who should skip the Triton Balance Plus

Players who spend most of the match scrambling or who want a forgiving, defence-first racket. A head-heavy diamond with an 18K face and a medium-hard core passes shock to the arm, so anyone with elbow trouble should demo first.

Not for you if

You play from the back, want a big sweet spot or have a sore arm. Padelful lists limited manoeuvrability and defence that demands early preparation. Our best padel racket for intermediate players page and the control padel rackets page list friendlier rackets.

Setting up the Balance Plus

A tacky overgrip from the padel grips page suits a head-heavy racket, and frame tape from the racket protector range protects the head. Balls come from the padel balls page.

A bag with thermal sleeves, such as StarVie's Pro Master, keeps rackets cool, and the padel shoes page covers court shoes. The full padel racket range is on one page, and our guide to choosing a padel racket explains shape and balance.
