StarVie Triton Power+ 2026 Padel Racket

£162

The StarVie Triton Power+ 2026 is an attacking diamond for advanced players: a head-heavy racket with an 18K Carbon Hybrid face, a hard H-EVA Power core and a weight of 358 g, give or take 8. It suits players who finish at the net, trust their overheads and have time to set up.

Padelful scores it 8.5 overall, with 10 for power and 9.6 for control, and lower marks for rebound (7.5), manoeuvrability (7.6) and sweet spot (7.9). It is firm, accurate and unforgiving on late contact.

What the Triton Power+ is

Padelgids lists a diamond racket 38 mm thick, with a high balance, an 18K Carbon Hybrid face that StarVie describes as medium-density carbon adding stiffness while staying comfortable, and an H-EVA Power core, a high-density foam for a firm feel and energy transfer. The core is built as TriTech Core, three layers aimed at balance and precision.

The rest of the list covers a textured Spin Boost surface, a rigid Five Sides frame, an Anatomic Bridge shaped for a two-handed grip, a longer handgrip for extra reach on the swing and a Z-Shock grip that absorbs vibration. Weight runs from 350 to 365 g across listings, with 358 g plus or minus 8 on Padelgids and one buyer reporting 361 g.

How the Triton Power+ plays

Heavy at the head and hard in the hand. Padelful's reviewer found firm, accurate volleys, strong bandejas and viboras and stable overheads, and the scores say the same: 10 for power and 9.6 for control. A French buyer on one retailer's site found it surprisingly manoeuvrable for a diamond, and another said it felt lighter and drier on impact than the Balance+.

The costs are the usual diamond ones. Defence needs good timing, quick exchanges feel slower and late contact is unforgiving. Community users mention a smaller sweet spot and a stiff feel in cold weather, which is worth noting for UK winters. Padelful's review sample is small, so treat the numbers as a guide.

Against the Black Titan: more power, less rebound and handling. Padelful scores out of 10.

Triton Power+, Triton Balance+ or Black Titan?

The Triton Balance+ is the softer-cored Triton for players who find the Power+ too demanding, though it is still an attacker's racket. The Black Titan is StarVie's other hard-hitting option, with a 24K face, slightly less power on Padelful and a little more rebound and sweet spot.

In short: the Triton Power+ is the one to pick if power is the priority, and the Black Titan if you want that hardness with a touch more rebound.

Who should skip the Triton Power+

Anyone who defends a lot or wants comfort. A hard core, a head-heavy diamond and a 7.6 for manoeuvrability are tiring over long rallies, and the best padel racket for intermediate players page lists friendlier frames. If you want a precise round racket instead, the control padel rackets page covers them.

Not for you if

You have a sensitive elbow or play from the back. Padelful says defence requires good timing and the racket is unforgiving on late contact, and the feel is hard. The diamond padel racket page lists other firm diamonds, so compare before you commit.

Setting up a Triton Power+

A hard racket needs a cushioned grip. An overgrip such as the Head Pro overgrip is the usual first extra, and our padel grips page explains when to replace instead. Fit frame tape from the racket protector range, since a head-heavy racket meets the floor hard.

Fresh balls soften a hard racket, so a tube of Bullpadel Next balls is a sensible companion, and the padel balls page explains how quickly pressure fades. The padel bags and padel shoes pages complete the kit, and the full padel racket range, the advanced padel rackets list and our guide to choosing a padel racket put it in context.
