The pink JX1, and the questions that stay open
It is the same racket as the blue JX1, in pink: round head, flexible fibreglass face with Texture Control, a soft AirSpring EVA core, a 30% carbon and 70% fibreglass frame, a perforated grip and a neoprene junior strap. If your child has a favourite colour, that is the whole decision.
The open questions are the same as the blue: the weight is given as about 322 g in one place and 0.37 kg in another, and the page states no age range and no length, so size it against your child.
Is the JX1 the right size for a child?
The weight is the problem. PadelShop's size guide puts a seven to nine-year-old at 280 to 310 g and 40 to 43 cm, and Decathlon's under-8 rackets are 265 g and 310 g. Even the lower 322 g figure is above those, so the JX1 reads better for an older junior than a small child.
