4ON Total Spray 200ml

4ON positions this as grip for the worst conditions: humid, muggy, warm sessions where sweat beats even a good overgrip. It's applied as a replacement for chalk, which some players still use on the handle, with the advantage of an even coat from an aerosol rather than a chalky block that cakes on unevenly.

No retailer publishes what's actually in the formula beyond 4ON's own description of an 'innovative' grip-boosting mix, so we can't say more than that it's a proprietary blend rather than a named compound.

Shake the can, hold it about 20 cm from your hand or the racket handle, spray, and wait around 10 seconds before you start playing. It can go straight onto the hand or onto the grip itself, and washing your hands afterward clears any residue once you're done on court.

Players whose grip disappears mid-match once their hand or handle gets properly wet, more than players who just run warm hands generally. If the sweat itself is the issue rather than the slip, 4ON's own Total Dry spray tackles that from the other direction, drying the hand before you start rather than adding grip once it's damp, and the brand's Total Grip paste does a similar anti-slip job to this spray in a rub-in format if you'd rather not aerosol it on. A fresh overgrip from our padel grips page, or 4ON's full SwiftGrip base-and-overgrip pack if the handle itself has gone slick, solves a worn grip rather than a sweaty session. The full padel accessories range, the padel racket range and our guide to choosing a padel racket cover the rest.
