adidas England World Cup Padel Racket 2026

£109.99

The adidas England World Cup padel racket is a limited-edition, soft round racket for beginners and casual players who want something easy to control and a national flag on the face. It has a fibreglass frame and face, an EVA Soft Performance core and a listed weight of 360 to 375 g.

It is a design edition more than a performance one. One retailer says outright that power is not the main objective, and we found no independent review. Sources disagree on balance, so this page sets out who says what.

What the England World Cup racket is

Tennis Warehouse Europe calls it a unique collector's piece that blends accessible performance with standout design. The England flag is on one face and the World Cup logo on the other, and it is a limited edition. adidas also made national-team versions for other countries.

The build is soft. The frame and face are fibreglass, the core is EVA Soft Performance and the head is round at 38 mm. The retailer describes a very comfortable, controlled response with a large sweet spot, and says it is a reliable choice for casual and improving players.

A second retailer, Stringers World, calls it tailor-made for beginner-to-intermediate players, defensive specialists and tactical players, and says it puts control ahead of power. That fits everything else on the spec sheet.

Same racket, three balance answers. Everyone agrees on round, fibreglass and 360 to 375 g. Balance and level are where the retailer pages split. Retailer listings, 2026.

Where the listings disagree, and how it compares

Balance is the main split: Tennis Warehouse Europe lists low, Padel Shack even and Racketguide medium. Racketguide also lists the level as beginner while its own text says intermediate. All of them agree on round, fibreglass and 360 to 375 g, so expect a soft, light-feeling racket whatever the balance label.

The England edition sits with the entry fibreglass rackets: the adidas Drive, the RX Series and the Cross It Team Ctrl. Those are the ones with reviews, and their Padelful scores run from 6.1 to 7.6.

Who should buy something else

Anyone who wants pace, and anyone buying purely for performance. A soft fibreglass racket tops out quickly, and a similar soft build is available in the plain adidas Drive. Look at the intermediate padel rackets page once you are rallying with confidence.

Not for you if

You want power or a firm feel, or you want an independent review before buying. The retailer itself says power is not the main objective.

Setting up a first racket

Fit a racket protector to keep the design intact and add an adidas overgrip; the padel grips page has other choices. adidas Speed RX balls and the padel balls guide cover the rest, and padel shoes will do more for your game than a second racket.

More starters are on the beginner padel racket and cheap padel racket pages, our guide to choosing a padel racket explains the trade-offs, and the full padel racket range covers the rest.

adidas England World Cup Padel Racket 2026: questions people ask

Is the adidas England World Cup racket the same as the England WC2026?

Yes. WC2026 is shorthand for World Cup 2026, and retailers use both names for the same limited-edition racket.

Is the adidas England World Cup racket good for beginners?

Yes. Retailers describe a soft, forgiving fibreglass racket with a large sweet spot and an easy, controlled response, and say power is not the main goal.

Is the England World Cup racket head heavy?

No source calls it head heavy. Balance is listed as low, even or medium depending on the retailer.

How does it compare with the adidas Drive?

The build looks similar: round, fibreglass, soft EVA core, 360 to 375 g. The England edition adds the flag design. We found no review of the England racket itself.

Are there other World Cup padel rackets from adidas?

Yes. adidas made national-team versions, and one retailer lists Colombia, Mexico, Germany, the Netherlands, Argentina, the USA and Italy alongside England.

How should I look after a printed racket face?

Use a protector on the frame, keep the racket out of heat and avoid scraping the face against the glass. A fibreglass face is soft and will show wear.
