Akkeron Black Diablo Pro Padel Racket

£117.30

The Akkeron Black Diablo Pro is a carbon teardrop padel racket from Akkeron, a Madrid brand that makes its rackets in Spain, aimed at advanced players who win points with placement and steady pressure rather than brute force. It pairs a 12K carbon face with graphene, Akkeron's medium-hard EV30 Black foam and a medium balance.

It's a racket few UK players will have seen, so this page sets out what the listing says, what it doesn't (the weight, chiefly), and how it compares with the better-known rackets we sell.

What the Black Diablo Pro is made of

Akkeron calls its face K12 Impact: 12K carbon set in its own resins, with a Power Boosting Layer pressed into the last layer and graphene added for liveliness and durability. A Rubber Force varnish finishes the face, and the frame has a reinforced perimeter and a central air channel. The core is EV30 Black, the middle of Akkeron's foam range, which runs from EV20 Soft to EV50.

In plain terms, that's a firm, carbon-faced racket with enough give in the foam that you don't need a perfect swing to find depth. The teardrop head and medium balance keep the sweet spot near the middle, which is what you want for blocks, volleys and the bandeja.

The weight, and the other Diablos

The UK listing we work from doesn't give a weight or a season. Akkeron sells rackets on its own site in weight bands you choose at checkout, so there isn't one fixed figure. For reference, Akkeron's standard Diablo 2025, which shares the EV30 Black core and K12 Impact face but not the Pro name or the graphene, is listed at 355 to 375 g. Padelful tested that racket and called it precision-first, with 9 for both power and control. That's a related racket, not this one, and we'll weigh ours when they arrive.

Akkeron has used the Diablo name on several rackets, including an Edition 23 and a 20th Anniversary Pro. The face of this one reads K-V-R, Diablo Pro, K12 Impact and Black Line.

How it compares with rackets you may know

The closest well-known equivalents are carbon teardrops built for control. Bullpadel's Neuron 02 is the obvious one: a medium-balance teardrop with a 3K face, built for players who build the point. The HEAD Radical Pro 2026 is a heavier control teardrop. And don't confuse this racket with the Siux's Diablo Pro 2026, a different brand's 24K carbon teardrop that happens to share the name.

Who should buy it

Advanced players who like a firm, controllable teardrop and enjoy owning something a little different. It suits players on either side who play patient padel at the net. Our teardrop padel racket and advanced padel rackets pages show the wider choice, and the carbon padel racket page explains what 12K faces do. Fit a fresh Bullpadel overgrip (see the padel grip page for sizes), protect the frame with frame tape, and keep a tube of Bullpadel Premium Pro balls handy; the padel balls and padel shoes pages cover the rest of the kit, everything else is on the padel racket page, and our guide to choosing a padel racket explains teardrop against round and diamond.

Not for you if

You're new to padel, you want the racket to do the work on your smash, or you need to know the exact weight before buying. A firm carbon teardrop rewards clean contact. Newer players should start on the best padel racket for beginners page.

Akkeron Black Diablo Pro Padel Racket: questions people ask

Is the Akkeron Black Diablo Pro the same as the Siux Diablo Pro?

No. They are different brands. The Akkeron Black Diablo Pro is a 12K carbon teardrop made in Spain by Akkeron; the Siux Diablo Pro is Siux's 24K carbon teardrop. They only share the Diablo name.

Is the Akkeron Black Diablo Pro good for intermediate players?

For a strong intermediate with clean contact, it can be. It is listed for advanced and competition players, and a firm carbon face with a medium-hard core gives less free depth than a soft club racket.

Akkeron Black Diablo Pro or Bullpadel Neuron 02: which suits me?

Both are medium-balance teardrops for control. The Neuron 02 has independent test scores and a 3K face; the Black Diablo Pro has a 12K face with graphene and Akkeron's EV30 core but no published test of its own.

How heavy is the Akkeron Black Diablo Pro?

The UK listing does not give a weight, and Akkeron sells its rackets in weight bands. The related Akkeron Diablo 2025 is listed at 355 to 375 g. We will weigh ours on arrival.

What does EV30 Black mean on an Akkeron racket?

It is the foam inside the racket. Akkeron's cores run from EV20 Soft to EV50; EV30 Black sits in the middle and is listed as medium-hard.
