Babolat Comfort Padel Overgrip 3 Pack

£6.70

The Babolat Comfort Padel overgrip is a softer, thicker wrap for padel players whose hands tire or sweat, sold in a pack of three. Babolat describes it as soft and elastic to reduce hand fatigue, and highly absorbent to keep the hand dry through a match.

Retailer listings put the thickness at about 1 mm and rate absorption 4 out of 5, with a tacky feel. Babolat's own page cut off before the thickness value, so we call it about 1 mm and say where it comes from.

Soft, thicker and absorbent

The Comfort is almost twice as thick as Babolat's My Overgrip, which changes the feel more than the numbers suggest. A thicker wrap swells the handle and softens contact, and the 4 out of 5 absorption rating suggests it handles sweat better than the thinner grip's 3. Retailers still call it tacky, so it is not a slippery cushion.

The trade-off is size. If your racket handle already feels full, adding 1 mm of wrap will make it bigger, and that matters for players who choke up.

Table comparing Babolat Comfort Padel and My Overgrip: about 1 mm against 0.55 mm, absorption 4 out of 5 against 3 out of 5, soft elastic tacky against tacky thin

Who it suits

Players with sensitive hands or elbows, who like a plush grip and sweat enough to want the absorption. If you prefer a slim, direct handle, the thin VS overgrip or the assorted single My Overgrip is the better pick.

For a base layer that sits underneath, a leather replacement grip is a firmer, thicker alternative, and the padel grips page explains how base grips and overgrips differ.

Who should skip it

Anyone who dislikes a chunky handle or has a racket with a small handle size. Also anyone who wants a published thickness from Babolat, since we only have a retailer figure. The padel accessories range has thinner options, such as Wilson's lightly tacky Pro overgrip.

Not for you if

You like a thin, direct handle. About 1 mm of wrap is noticeably softer and bigger than the 0.55 mm My Overgrip.
