Bas3line Juno Attack Padel Racket

£180

The Bas3line Juno Attack padel racket is a 345g, head-heavy frame built for intermediate and good intermediate players who already play an attacking game, with a 3K carbon fibre face and a medium-density EVA core.

Bas3line calls the shape 'Hybrid Round' on its own product page, a term that doesn't map cleanly onto the round, teardrop or diamond split most brands use, so we're reporting it as Bas3line's own description rather than forcing it into one of the usual three.

What the build is for

A 3K carbon fibre weave face sits over a medium-density EVA core, a combination Bas3line pitches as more power than a lightweight fibreglass racket while keeping some control from the softer core underneath. The frame is 38mm, carbon fibre double tubular construction, and a 3D spin decal surface is built to add grip and spin on contact.

At 345g with a 10g tolerance either side, Bas3line describes this as 15 to 25g lighter than the average padel racket, which fits the brand's own positioning: head-heavy enough to add power on a smash or volley, but not the heaviest frame in a shop.

A shape that doesn't fit the usual three

Most padel rackets are sold as round, teardrop or diamond, and that split is useful shorthand because it tells you roughly where the sweet spot sits. Bas3line calls the Juno's shape 'Hybrid Round' instead, which sits between the forgiving sweet spot of a round frame and the head-heavy punch the rest of the spec sheet describes. If you're used to shopping by shape name alone, go by the weight and balance figures here rather than assuming 'round' means low-powered.

Who it suits

Intermediate and good intermediate players who already attack from the net rather than players still learning to control a rally. It's pitched at finishing points quickly on a smash or volley, not at a defensive, back-glass game. If that sounds heavier than you need, Bas3line's own Nebula Performance is the lighter, neutral-balance all-rounder below it. Our guide to choosing a padel racket explains shape and balance in more depth if you're still working out what suits you, the padel racket range has everything else we stock, and padel shoes matter just as much when you're moving fast enough to get to the net.

Not for you if

You're new to padel or play a defensive, control-first game. A head-heavy frame this attack-focused punishes mistiming more than a round, low-balance beginner racket.

Setting it up

A tacky overgrip keeps a fast swing secure on the handle; our padel grips page compares every finish we stock, including Bas3line's own Edge Pro overgrip. A racket protector is worth adding too, since a carbon face this stiff chips rather than flexes on a mistimed low shot. For balls, our padel ball page covers every brand we stock, including Bas3line's own Edge Pro tube, and a Bas3line Edge Series bag keeps it protected between sessions.
