Bas3line Nebula Performance Padel Racket

£165

The Bas3line Nebula Performance padel racket is a 335g, neutral-balance frame built as a true all-rounder, with a 3K carbon face over a medium-density EVA core, pitched at progressing beginners and intermediate players who need both attack and defence.

Set it next to Bas3line's own Juno Attack and the contrast is the whole story: the Juno is head-heavy and built to finish points, the Nebula is neutral and built to do everything reasonably well.

What the build is for

A 3K carbon fibre face sits over a medium-density EVA core, the same combination Bas3line uses on the Juno Attack, but the balance here is neutral rather than head-heavy: weight sits evenly through the frame instead of loaded toward the head. The surface uses a sand finish on a 3D pattern for extra spin, a different texture description from the Juno's own surface treatment, so we're not assuming the two share identical tech.

At 335g with a 7.5g tolerance, Bas3line describes this as sitting at the light end of its own range, 25 to 35g lighter than the average padel racket. The frame is 38mm carbon fibre double tubular, the same spec as the Juno Attack.

Nebula or Juno: the real difference is balance

Both are Bas3line's own "Hybrid Round" shape, both use a 3K carbon face over medium-density EVA, and both run a 38mm double tubular frame. What actually separates them is where the weight sits: the Nebula is neutral and 10g lighter, built for a player who needs to do a bit of everything; the Juno is head-heavy, built for a player already committed to finishing points at the net. Want the same neutral balance in a teardrop head? The Vega 12K Aluminised Carbon is Bas3line's other neutral racket, 10g heavier with a 12K face.

Table comparing the Bas3line Nebula Performance with the Juno Attack by weight, balance and intended play style

Who it suits

Progressing beginners and intermediate players who haven't settled into a purely attacking or defensive style yet, or who'd rather have a racket that doesn't punish them for playing both roles in a match. Bas3line names three of its own players as Nebula users, which is worth knowing if you like a racket with a genuine track record behind it rather than a brand-new, untested model. If you want a more conventional teardrop shape and a lighter, head-light build for control, the brand's own Orion 12K is the option to look at instead.

Not for you if

You already commit fully to an attacking game at the net. The head-heavier Juno Attack gives you more finishing power for the same brand and build.

Setting it up

A tacky overgrip keeps the handle secure through a long session; our padel grips page compares every finish we stock, including Bas3line's own Edge Pro overgrip. A racket protector is worth adding on a carbon face this stiff. For balls, our padel ball page covers every brand, including Bas3line's own Edge Pro tube, a pair of padel shoes matters just as much on an all-court game that moves you around the whole box, and the full padel racket range plus our guide to choosing a padel racket cover the rest if you're still comparing options.
