Dual Absorbing against the Hydrosorb Pro

Both are Head base grips of about 1.75 mm. The Dual Absorbing is described as a soft rubber composite over polyester felt, which soaks sweat, while the Hydrosorb Pro is thinner in the surface, perforated and built as two channels for airflow. The standard Hydrosorb is thicker, at 1.8 mm and 23 g.

None of this is padel testing. All the figures are retailers' and Head's tennis pages, and we've repeated them without trying the grips.

Not for you if

You have small hands or a thin padel handle. 1.75 mm is chunky, and a plain overgrip adds far less.

Fitting and changing
