Hirostar Fighter Padel Racket: questions people ask

Is this racket right for my level?

The level line at the top of the page comes from the brand sheet and the specs decide it: a round head, low balance and a soft core forgive mistimed contact, which is what a newer player needs; a diamond head and high balance reward a fast, early swing. If you are between levels, choose the more forgiving racket. The best padel racket for beginners and intermediate pages explain the trade-off in full.

What does the weight mean, and will mine match it?

Brands quote a weight range and every frame varies by a few grams, so a racket listed at 360 g can arrive at 355 or 366. We show the midpoint. Where the weight matters to you (arm trouble, a very light swing), email us before ordering and we will check the box when stock arrives.

Do I need an overgrip and a protector?

Yes to both, in practice. The factory grip is thin and most players add an overgrip on day one; a frame protector takes the knocks off the glass that would otherwise chip the edge. Add a tube of padel balls and the order clears the £40 free-delivery line.

Is this the current model year?

The season is in the title and in the spec table. Bullpadel numbers the mould (Vertex 04, Vertex 05) and adds the season as a two-digit suffix; Nox, adidas and Babolat put the year after the model. An outgoing season is the same racket a year older, usually at a lower price, which is why the finder offers it as the value pick.

How long does delivery take, and is it really free over £40?

Tracked UK delivery in 3 to 4 working days. Free on orders over £40; £3.95 below that. Every racket ships in a protective sleeve inside a rigid box. UK stock, prices include VAT and there are no customs charges on arrival.

Can I return it if it is not for me?

Yes: 30 days to send it back unused for a refund. Keep the protective film on the face and the grip wrapper on until you are sure, because a racket that has been played cannot be resold as new. The returns page has the detail.
