Karakal Air Lite 345 Padel Racket
£61.80
The Karakal Air Lite 345 padel racket is the lightest racket in the Karakal range we list, for beginners and improving players who want an easy-to-swing teardrop. Retailers list 345 g, a teardrop head, a rough face and a beginner to intermediate level, and our listing is the pink colourway.
Tennis Nuts sells the same racket in blue with a matte black finish, and we could not confirm a pink listing there. Neither retailer gives a core or face material that we could read.

Which level is the Karakal Air Lite 345 Pink Padel Racket for?
By Tushan Das, Owner, Padel Depot · Updated
A light racket for starting out
At 345 g the Air Lite is 20 g lighter than Karakal's Chaos Dynamic and 30 g lighter than the FF Pro 375, which matters when you are building a stroke. A light racket is easier to swing for a full match and kinder to a wrist or elbow that is not yet conditioned, and a teardrop head gives a middle-of-the-face sweet spot without the demands of a diamond.
PDH Sports tags it as a starter racket with a rough texture, and Tennis Nuts classes it as beginner to intermediate. Beyond weight, shape and surface, the listings give little, so treat the specification as basic.

Where to go next
When you outgrow it, the FF 365 is the next step in Karakal's range and the Chaos Dynamic is the control racket. Our best padel racket for beginners page compares first rackets from other brands, and the teardrop padel rackets page covers the shape.
Who should skip it
Players who hit hard and want weight behind the ball, and anyone who needs a published core or face. The full padel racket range lists heavier options, and our guide to choosing a padel racket explains weight.
Not for you if
You want a published core and face material. Listings give neither for the Air Lite 345.
Setting it up
A fresh overgrip from the padel grips page, frame tape from the racket protector range and balls from the padel balls page cover the basics, and court shoes are on the padel shoes page.
