Nox AT10 Genius Attack 12K Alum Xtrem 2027 Padel Racket

£302.99

The Nox AT10 Genius Attack 12K is the diamond, high-balance version of Agustin Tapia's 12K Genius, for advanced players who already generate racket speed and want to finish at the net: 360 to 375 g, the stiff 12K Alum Xtrem face, an MLD Black EVA core and a medium-hard feel. This listing is the 2027 edition, which Nox now names Genius Attack 12K Alum Xtrem by Agustin Tapia.

Padelful scores it 9.7 for power and 9.4 for control, 8.8 overall. That makes it the diamond Genius to buy this season: the 18K Attack scored 7.3.

How the Genius Attack 12K plays

Heavy and direct at the net. Padelful lists heavy, stable volleys, a direct response on the víbora and bandeja, and explosive acceleration on clean smashes. Control at 9.4 is rare for a power diamond; it's the stiff 12K face doing the work.

The weaknesses come from the high balance: late defensive blocks fall short, quick reactions cost more, and there's little rebound on slow swings. Padelful's line on who it's for is blunt: an advanced player who already generates racket speed.

Genius Attack 12K or 18K in 2027?

The 12K, on the evidence. Both are diamonds with the same weight and core, but Padelful scored the 2027 Genius Attack 18K at 6.6 for control and 6.4 for handling, against 9.4 and 8.0 here. If you specifically want the 18K face on a diamond, the 2026 Genius Attack 18K scored 8.7 and is the better buy.

Diamond or teardrop on the 12K Alum Xtrem face?

The teardrop Genius 12K Alum Xtrem 2027 is Padelful's top-scored Nox at 9.0 overall. The Attack adds 0.7 of power and a little rebound, and gives up 1.4 points of handling and more than a point of sweet spot. Left-side finishers who live at the net should take the Attack; everyone else will win more points with the teardrop. Our diamond padel racket page explains the trade-off across brands.

Not for you if

You're an intermediate, you defend from the back glass a lot, or your swing is slow and compact. The high balance and stiff face punish all three. Nox's teardrop Genius, or the cheaper Future Attack to try a diamond first, are better routes.

Setting it up

Fit a racket protector straight away; a diamond's wide shoulders take the knocks on low volleys. A tacky overgrip from our padel grips range stops a head-heavy racket twisting. Pair it with a lively tube from our padel balls, padel shoes that grip sand-filled turf and a padel bag with a thermal pocket. Nox AT10 Genius Attack 12K Alum Xtrem 2027 Padel Racket: questions people ask

Is the Nox Genius Attack 12K Alum Xtrem 2027 the same as the AT10 Genius Attack 12K?

Yes. For 2027 Nox dropped the AT10 and Luxury tags from the name; it is still the diamond in Agustin Tapia's Genius line.

Genius Attack 12K or Genius Attack 18K 2027?

The 12K. Padelful scored it 8.8 overall against 7.3 for the 2027 18K Attack, with much higher control, handling and sweet spot.

Is the Nox Genius Attack 12K good for intermediate players?

Rarely. Padelful aims it at advanced players who already swing fast; the high balance makes defence and quick exchanges harder.

How heavy is the Nox AT10 Genius Attack 12K 2027?

Nox gives a 360 to 375 g window. An overgrip adds about 4 to 5 g, which moves the balance slightly towards the handle.

How long will the sand finish on the Genius Attack 12K last?

It wears gradually with heavy play. Wipe the face after sessions, keep the racket in a cover and out of hot cars, and fit a frame protector.
