Pallap Evoforce Bright Star Padel Racket

£161.09

The Pallap Evoforce Bright Star padel racket is a teardrop weighing around 350 to 355g, built with a Dual Carbon frame and a 15K Alumatrix Carbon face. It's the lighter of Pallap's two Evoforce Star rackets, aimed at players who want a quick, manoeuvrable attacking frame rather than outright weight.

Pallap is a newer European brand, and this racket sits toward the top of its three-family range: lighter and faster than the Evoforce Elite and Pro above it, with more speed at the net than the entry-level Evoforce Team below.

Where Bright Star sits in Pallap's Evoforce range

Pallap builds its Evoforce teardrop line in five tiers, and weight is the clearest signal of where each one sits. The Evoforce Team opens the range at around 340 to 345g for players still building consistency. Bright Star steps up to 350 to 355g, built to feel explosive and easy to swing rather than simply heavier. Its sibling, the Evoforce Dark Star, weighs more at 360 to 365g and trades some of that speed for raw power. Above both sit the Evoforce Elite (360 to 365g) and the flagship Evoforce Pro (360 to 375g), the firmest and most powerful of the five.

If you're torn between the two Star rackets: Bright Star for quicker hands and an easier swing, the Dark Star for more weight behind the ball. Neither is softer than the other; both are pitched at intermediate to advanced players, just with a different balance of speed and power.

What the frame is made of

The face is 15K Alumatrix Carbon, a stiff, aluminised carbon weave that favours precision over flex. Behind it sits what the brand calls an Impulse 2 Layer core, combining an EVA Fusion 30 foam with a second PN layer rather than a single slab of foam. The frame itself is Dual Carbon. Take away the PN layer and add a few grams and you have, more or less, the teardrop Velocity Star 2026. One source describes the result as noticeably elastic on contact, with a sweet spot on the smaller side, which fits a racket built for speed rather than forgiveness.

Balance sits at 250 to 255mm from the butt, which one retailer calls relatively low for a teardrop and credits for the racket's quick handling at the net. We've only found that figure from a single source, so treat it as indicative rather than a universal spec.

A weight figure and a shape worth double-checking

Most sources we found agree on 350 to 355g, but one retailer's category page lists 340 to 345g for the same model. We can't settle which is right without the box in hand, so we've stated the more widely supported figure and flagged the conflict rather than quietly picking one.

Every outside source calls this a teardrop. Our own listing's shape tag says hybrid, which doesn't match what Pallap or any UK or European retailer calls it. Until we can confirm one way or the other against the box, we've gone with teardrop here, since five independent sources agree on it against our single internal tag.

Who should buy it

Intermediate players who already hit with some pace and want to move quicker at the net, and advanced players who prefer a lighter, faster racket over a heavier, harder-hitting one. Our advanced padel rackets page sets it against Bullpadel, Siux, Varlion and Oxdog's equivalents, and the teardrop padel racket page explains the shape across every brand we stock.

Not for you if

You're still learning to find the sweet spot consistently, or you want the racket to supply power on half-hit balls. The smaller sweet spot described by reviewers rewards clean contact and punishes mistimed shots, so a newer player will likely find more success with a round racket from our control padel racket page.

Setting it up

Fit a padel racket protector before your first session; a carbon teardrop chips on the glass more easily than a softer round frame. An overgrip from our padel grip range keeps the handle tacky and adds a few grams back if the balance ever feels too light.

Pair it with a tube from our padel balls range and a padel bag with a thermal pocket, since EVA cores soften in heat. Add padel shoes built for sand-filled turf, and see the full padel racket range or our guide on how to choose a padel racket if you're still deciding.

Pallap Evoforce Bright Star Padel Racket: questions people ask

Is the Pallap Evoforce Bright Star a teardrop or a hybrid racket?

Every UK and European retailer we checked calls it a teardrop. Our own catalogue tag says hybrid, which we can't currently confirm against any outside source, so we've gone with teardrop here until we can check the racket itself.

What's the difference between the Evoforce Bright Star and Dark Star?

Weight and emphasis. Bright Star is lighter at 350 to 355g and built for speed; Dark Star is heavier at 360 to 365g and built for more raw power. Both are teardrops pitched at intermediate to advanced players.

Is the Pallap Evoforce Bright Star good for intermediate players?

Retailers pitch it at intermediate to advanced players with a confident swing. The sweet spot is described as on the smaller side, so a newer player may find more consistency with a round racket first.

How heavy is the Pallap Evoforce Bright Star?

Most sources give 350 to 355g, though one retailer's category page lists 340 to 345g for the same model. We've stated both rather than guess which is correct.

What core and face does the Pallap Evoforce Bright Star use?

A 15K Alumatrix Carbon face over what Pallap calls an Impulse 2 Layer core, combining an EVA Fusion 30 foam with a second PN layer, on a Dual Carbon frame.
