Raquex Elite Pink Padel Balls (Tube of 3)

£7.45

Raquex Elite pink padel balls come three to a tube and are made to be easy to see. Retailers describe a synthetic felt that resists moisture and dirt, and list them as FIP approved and suitable for all court surfaces.

The listings give no pressure, weight or bounce for the pink tube, and the FIP approval is the seller's claim, so we set out what the FIP actually requires and what to check.

What the listings say about the pink Elite balls

The pitch is visibility. A pink ball stands out against a blue or green court and against the glass, which helps in poor light. The felt is called synthetic and moisture and dirt resistant, which in practice means it should shrug off damp courts better than a plain wool felt, though no test backs that up.

The Elite range also comes in a Pace version. Retailers position the standard Elite for slower courts or cold conditions and the Pace for faster, higher-performance play. We found no pink Pace, so assume this tube is the standard one.

What FIP approved should mean

The FIP limits a padel ball to 56 to 59.4 g and an internal pressure of about 10.1 to 11.5 psi, so three balls should come to roughly 168 to 178 g. The listings for this tube do not give any of those figures, so the approval is the seller's word. If you play in a league or tournament, check the FIP list or ask the organiser before you buy a case.

For a casual game none of that matters much. Pink balls are a fine choice for a social hit, and the standard yellow comparisons are on our padel balls page.

Making a tube last

Pressure leaks once the tube is opened, and faster in heat. Reseal it after play and keep it out of a hot car. A pressuriser such as the Head X4 helps slow the leak, though no maker publishes a life figure.

For a moisture-repellent alternative, there is the Tretorn Serie+ Tour tube. To compare with other tubes, see the Black Crown One tube, the Babolat Court tube and the Head Pro S+ bipack. New players can start with a beginner padel racket, and the full padel racket range is behind it.

Who should skip them

Anyone playing a sanctioned match who needs a confirmed FIP ball, and players who want a stated pressure and felt composition.

Not for you if

You need a confirmed FIP-approved ball for competition. The approval is a seller listing, and no pressure or weight is published for the pink tube.

Raquex Elite Pink Padel Balls (Tube of 3): questions people ask

Are Raquex Elite pink padel balls FIP approved?

Retailers list them as FIP approved, but that is the seller's claim and we found no FIP page confirming it. Check the FIP list for competition use.

What is the difference between Raquex Elite and Elite Pace balls?

Retailers position the standard Elite for slower courts or cold conditions and the Pace for faster, higher-performance play. No pressure figures are published for either.

How many balls are in a Raquex Elite pink tube?

Three balls in a tube.

Are pink padel balls different from yellow ones?

The colour is for visibility. Pace, bounce and wear depend on the ball, not the dye, so judge by the pressure and felt.

How long do Raquex Elite padel balls last?

No life figure is published. Pressure leaks once the tube is open, so use them within a few sessions for the best bounce.
