Tretorn Serie+ Tour Padel Balls (Tube of 3)

£6

The Tretorn Serie+ Tour padel balls come three to a tube, with a lightweight Duraweave felt over an extra-thin rubber core and a moisture-repellent build. Retailers pitch them at players who want speed, control and a ball that lasts, and Tennis Nuts claims consistent bounce and responsiveness.

That is seller wording, and no listing we found gives a pressure, a weight or an FIP status. This page is the single tube, and the dozen is a separate listing.

What the listings say about the Serie+ Tour

Two construction details are named. The felt is Duraweave, described as lightweight, and the core is an extra-thin rubber layer that the page says makes the ball more responsive. The moisture-repellent build is the headline, since a ball that soaks up damp loses pace, and Decathlon repeats that it keeps its performance in varied conditions.

Those are the maker's claims as retailers print them. An AU marketplace title also names Tri-Tec felt, which shows the product is sold under slightly different descriptions, so check the tube when it arrives.

How it compares with other tubes we list

The Raquex Elite pink balls are described with a synthetic, moisture and dirt resistant felt and a seller-listed FIP approval. The Black Crown One tube is listed as pressurised with 27 per cent cotton by one retailer, and the Babolat Court tube is the plainer reference. None of the four gives a pressure figure.

If you play a lot in damp conditions, moisture resistance is the feature to weigh, but nothing here is tested. The padel balls page lines up the rest of the range.

Keeping a tube lively

Pressurised balls lose bounce once opened, and moisture-repellent felt does not change that. Cap the tube after play, keep it out of a hot car, and think about a pressuriser such as the Head X4 if you play often.

Balls need a padel racket, good padel shoes and a fresh overgrip from the padel grips range. Small kit is on the padel accessories page.

Who should skip them

Anyone playing a sanctioned match who needs a confirmed FIP ball, and players who want a published pressure and weight before buying.

Not for you if

You need a confirmed FIP ball for competition. No listing states approval, pressure or weight, and the durability claims are untested.
