What the Black Mamba Evo Pro is like to play

Padelful's scores for the Black are 7.1 for power, 7.4 for control, 8.6 for rebound, 9.1 for manoeuvrability and 8.8 for sweet spot, with an overall 8.2 and a medium-soft feel. The White scores almost the same. Those are Padelful's scores, not ours.

The standout is the head speed. A round racket with a carbon face that moves this quickly is a good net racket, and the sweet spot is big enough to forgive the odd late swing. It is not a smash racket, and the power score says so.

Black or White, and what the listings disagree on

Stringers World lists the Black at 350 to 370 g with an even balance, a 38 mm frame, a smooth surface and carbon on face and frame. Padelproshop calls the balance medium-low, and Padelful says the White is low to medium at 360 to 375 g with one body line that says fibreglass frame.

The two colourways are the same racket in a different finish as far as we can tell, but the weight ranges differ by a few grams, so do not read the colour as a spec change.

Evo Pro or another round control racket

For other round carbon rackets, the Tecnifibre Wall Master 370 is the firmer, heavier alternative and the Wall Master 365 is a step lighter. Our control padel rackets page lists more round options, and the teardrop Black Mamba Pro 2.0 is its sharper sibling, with the Radical 12K 3.0 between them.
