Y1 AXLTD 2026 Padel Racket

£144

The Y1 AXLTD 2026 padel racket is a pink special-edition diamond from Y1's AX range, with a 3K carbon twill face, an EV50 ProFoam EVA core and a full carbon double-tube frame, 355 to 375 g. Padel Shack describes it as a tour-level racket for advanced all-court players.

One thing to check: the spec table says head heavy, while the description talks about a mid balance point. We state both rather than choose.

What Y1 puts in the AXLTD

The facts line up neatly: a diamond head, a 3K carbon twill face with Y1's Texture Control surface, an EV50 ProFoam EVA core and a 100% carbon frame built as a double tube, with OptiFlow holes, a perforated VibraControl grip and a neoprene strap. The weight is 355 to 375 g, 365 g nominal.

Where it slips is balance. The spec table says head heavy, which is what a diamond usually is; the description says mid balance point. With no test to settle it, assume a diamond: power on overheads, and a racket that needs timing and a strong arm.

AXLTD or the standard AX diamonds?

The AXLTD is a special-edition colour in a range that already has a family: the AX3, the AX12 and the AX18. We can't tell from the listings how its core and face compare with theirs, so look at the specs side by side before paying for the colour.
