Babolat Syntec Uptake Replacement Grip
£4.49
The Babolat Syntec Uptake replacement grip is a single base grip for players who sweat and want one that takes it up, listed at about 1.9 to 2 mm thick and 110 cm long. Babolat's own UK page gives 1.9 mm in its text and 2 mm in its specification table, and a retailer rates absorption 3 out of 5.
It goes on the bare handle with an overgrip on top. Two retailers list 109 cm for the length instead of 110.

Where the sources disagree
Babolat UK's description says 1.9 mm and its spec table says 2 mm, and Central Sports and Babolat Canada say 2 mm. Length is 110 cm on Babolat UK and 109 cm at Tennis Gear and Total Padel. Those are tiny gaps, and a 0.1 mm difference will not change how a handle feels, but we show them rather than pick one quietly.
The absorption rating of 3 out of 5 sits in the middle, which is why the grip is a sweat-aware base rather than a plush one.
Uptake against the rest
The Syntec Pro is the same thickness on paper, the Team is thinner and the Evo is thicker. The black single is the Uptake X1, and clubs can buy the X30 box. The padel grips page covers how it works with an overgrip.
Who should skip it
Players who want a plush handle, and anyone who wants a padel-specific sheet from Babolat. See the padel accessories range for the rest.
Not for you if
You want a published padel fit. Babolat does not claim one that we found.
