The Black Crown One padel balls dozen is twelve pressurised balls, packed as four tubes of three, for players who go through a tube a week and want the next one sealed and ready. Retailers pitch the One at players of any standard, and Black Crown also makes a Pro ball that sits above it.

The "3 ball dozen" title means four tubes of three, not three balls. Padel Shack gives a 27% cotton figure and a 0.8 kg package weight, and does not state a colour or FIP approval.

What is in the One dozen

Four sealed tubes, three balls each. Open one, play, and leave the others sealed until you need them, since a padel ball loses pressure once the seal is broken. If you only want to try the ball, a single Black Crown One tube is the starting size.

The listing name also causes the odd mix-up with the Black Crown Pro dozen, which is the same pack shape. The two differ on the figures the retailer prints, as the table shows.

A weight sense check

An FIP padel ball weighs 56 to 59.4 g, so twelve come to roughly 0.67 to 0.71 kg before packaging. The One listing's 0.8 kg fits that. The Pro dozen's 1.2 kg does not, which is why we do not lean on that number on either page.

None of this tells you how long a ball lasts, and Black Crown publishes no life figure. Keep unopened tubes cool, put the lid back after play, and use a padel ball pressuriser between sessions if you like. The Head x4 takes four balls.
