Bullpadel Vertex Junior Boy Padel Racket (2026)

£61.95

The Bullpadel Vertex junior boy padel racket is a diamond-shaped frame for advanced juniors, built around a Polyglass face and a CarbonTube frame, with Bullpadel's current generation weighing in at roughly 330 to 350 g.

One retailer's own listing can't agree with itself on the balance, calling it head-heavy in the spec table and medium in the description text underneath. We've gone with medium, since that's what two independent sources and our own catalogue tags all agree on.

What one page gets wrong about itself

Tennisnuts lists this racket at 335 to 345 g with a 10 g tolerance, a diamond head, a Polyglass fibreglass face and a CarbonTube frame that's 100% carbon. Its spec table calls the balance high, or head-heavy; its own product description two paragraphs down calls it medium. We're going with medium, which matches both our catalogue's own tags and a second, independent source that gives the current Vertex Junior line the same figure.

Profile thickness has its own small conflict: Tennisnuts says 38 mm, while the other source we checked says 36 mm. Neither is more authoritative than the other, so both are reported rather than picked at random.

This season's racket next to last season's

This 26-generation boy's racket sits right alongside the already-stocked Vertex Girl Junior 2023: same weight band, same diamond shape, same CarbonTube frame. Three seasons apart and Bullpadel hasn't changed the junior Vertex formula much, which means buying whichever one is actually in stock costs you little in performance. Its own direct colour twin, the Vertex Junior Girl 26, matches this racket on every measurable spec; the only real difference is how retailers label the two for level.

Who it suits

An advanced junior, roughly 9 to 13 depending on height and strength rather than age alone, already playing with a full swing and wanting more pop on the smash than a round or teardrop entry racket gives. Tennisnuts pitches it as a 'Power Focus' racket for advanced players, which fits a diamond this head-heavy.

Not for you if

Your child is newer to the sport. A diamond punishes an off-centre hit more than a forgiving round frame; the lighter Indiga Junior rackets are the gentler starting point.

Setting it up

A tacky overgrip from our padel grips page keeps a fast junior swing secure on the handle. A racket protector is worth adding too, since a diamond's edge takes the brunt of an off-centre hit. Junior padel shoes matter for grip on sand-dressed turf, and our padel ball page covers what keeps a session going. The full padel racket range and the Bullpadel rackets page cover everything else in the family, and our guide to choosing a padel racket explains shape and balance from the start.

Bullpadel Vertex Junior Boy Padel Racket (2026): questions people ask

Is the Bullpadel Vertex Junior Boy 26 the same as the Vertex Jr Boy 26?

Yes. Retailers shorten "Junior" to "Jr" interchangeably; same racket, same 2026 generation.

How heavy is the Bullpadel Vertex Junior Boy 26?

About 330 to 350 g. One retailer gives a tighter 335 to 345 g band within that range.

Is the Vertex Junior Boy 26 head-heavy or medium balance?

Medium. One retailer's own page is inconsistent, calling it high balance in its spec table and medium in its description. We've gone with medium, matching our own catalogue tags and a second independent source.

How does the Vertex Junior Boy 26 compare to the 2023 Vertex Girl Junior?

Very closely. Both are about 330 to 350 g diamonds with a CarbonTube frame; the junior Vertex formula has barely changed across three seasons.

What should my child move to after the Vertex Junior Boy 26?

Bullpadel's adult Vertex line once they're playing a full adult swing and competing regularly, typically from their mid-teens depending on height and strength.
