Joma Slam Pro Iconic Padel Racket 2026

£116

The Joma Slam Pro Iconic padel racket is a 3K carbon, high-balance racket for competitive players who want power from a shape that's easier to swing than a diamond: 350 to 360 g, a medium-hard Black EVA core, and a head Joma calls a teardrop and several shops call a hybrid.

It's the cheaper-carbon end of Joma's 2026 line. The numbers on its spec sheet are almost identical to the pricier 12K rackets, and the carbon grade is where the difference shows.

Same numbers, different labels

Joma's page lists a tear shape, 350 to 360 g, a high balance, a 3k carbon frame, a Flexo Black EVA core with a medium-hard feel and a 40% control, 60% power split. It names Joma 3D Spin, Aerobump Tech, Carbon 3K and Flexo BlackEVA as the technologies, and rates the racket for a high, professional level, as a competition racket for players who want complete performance in every phase.

Tennis Nuts agrees on the numbers, and disagrees on the labels: it lists a hybrid head, calls the core medium-firm, and puts the level at intermediate to advanced. It also lists technologies Joma's own page doesn't, so we've stuck to Joma's. Joma's blog calls its Iconic models soft-cored, which doesn't match its product page, and we've gone with the product page.

Comparison of the Joma Slam Pro Iconic on Joma's page and the Tennis Nuts listing: teardrop against hybrid, high professional against intermediate to advanced, and medium-hard against medium-firm, with matching weight, balance and 3K carbon face

Against the other 2026 Jomas

Put the Slam Pro Iconic next to the Blast Pro SFT and the Hyper Pro SFT and the spec sheets read alike: 350 to 360 g, high balance, 40/60 control and power. What differs is the shape, the carbon grade and the core's feel. The Slam has 3K carbon where the others have 12K, and a medium-hard core where the Blast is soft.

In practice that points to a firm, responsive racket without the premium material, which suits a player who values a lively feel more than the last bit of stiffness.

Not for you if

You're new to padel, want a round racket's forgiveness or need a light frame. 350 to 360 g with a high balance is a racket for players who already swing with some pace, whatever the shop's level label says.

Comparison of three Joma 2026 rackets: Slam Pro Iconic teardrop with 3K carbon, Blast Pro SFT hybrid with 12K carbon, and Hyper Pro SFT diamond with 12K carbon, all 350 to 360 grams with high balance

Who it suits

Competitive club players, strong intermediates stepping up, and anyone who wants Joma's attacking feel without paying for 12K carbon. It sits naturally among our teardrop and hybrid rackets, and a strong intermediate can compare it on the intermediate padel racket list. The full padel racket range is the place to compare it with other brands.

Looking after it

Fit a racket protector before the first match, carry a spare overgrip from padel grips, and use a fresh tube of padel balls so the medium-hard core has something lively to work with. Court shoes from padel shoes and a padel bag with a racket compartment complete the setup.

Joma Slam Pro Iconic Padel Racket 2026: questions people ask

Is the Joma Slam Pro Iconic a teardrop or a hybrid?

Joma calls it a tear shape, and Tennis Nuts lists a hybrid head. The two labels overlap, and the balance is high in both cases.

What does Iconic mean in the Joma Slam Pro Iconic name?

The Iconic range, with the Tournament Pro Iconic, revives some of Joma's best-known models for 2026. Joma's page features a Juani Mieres testimonial.

How heavy is the Joma Slam Pro Iconic?

Is the Joma Slam Pro Iconic good for intermediate players?
