Pallap Power Team Padel Racket

£125.95

The Pallap Power Team padel racket is a 355 to 360g diamond, the entry point into Pallap's Power range, built for intermediate players who want a taste of diamond power without the firmest build in the family.

It's also the one Power racket where our own catalogue's balance tag actually matches what a retailer says, closing the family on the same honest note the Evoforce Team did for its own range.

The one Power racket where our tag checks out

We've flagged a balance mismatch on every other Pallap Power racket: our catalogue says low and the outside source says something else entirely. Here they agree. Stringersworld's own listing calls this racket head-light at 255mm, which is the same direction our catalogue tag already points. After four pages of conflicts across this family, it's worth saying plainly when the numbers actually line up.

A core that stays the same across the whole Power range

This racket uses EVA 28 foam, which is the same core name (or a close variant) we've found on every other Power racket we've checked: the Power Elite, Power Pro and both seasons of the Power Star. That's a real contrast with Pallap's Evoforce range, where all five rackets use five different cores. Power keeps one recipe and changes the weight and balance; Evoforce changes the recipe at every tier.

The face steps down to a 12K carbon weave here, a lower grade than the 24K carbon on Elite and Pro, which fits the entry-level positioning and should make the racket feel a little softer on contact.

Who should buy it

Intermediate players curious about a diamond's power who don't want to start at the firmest end of the range. One source still describes it as power-oriented and built for offensive play, so it isn't a soft, forgiving racket the way Evoforce Team is in its own family; it's simply the most approachable diamond Pallap makes. Our diamond padel rackets page sets it against Bullpadel, Oxdog and Varlion's diamonds.

Not for you if

You're still building consistent contact or you want a racket that forgives mistimed shots. Even the entry Power racket is still a diamond, with a smaller sweet spot than a teardrop or round frame. Our control padel racket page or Pallap's own Evoforce Team teardrop are gentler starting points.

Setting it up

Fit a padel racket protector before your first session; diamonds clip the glass more than rounder shapes. Keep the handle tacky with an overgrip from our padel grip range.

Pair it with fresh balls from our padel balls range and a padel bag with a thermal pocket. Add padel shoes for sand-filled turf, see the full padel racket range, and the guide on how to choose a padel racket if you're comparing shapes.

Pallap Power Team Padel Racket: questions people ask

Is the Pallap Power Team low balance?

Yes, and this is the one racket in the Power family where our catalogue tag matches an outside source. A UK retailer describes it as head-light at 255mm, the same direction our low-balance tag already points.

How does the Pallap Power Team differ from the Power Elite or Power Pro?

Weight, balance and face grade. Team is lighter and head-light rather than head-heavy, and its 12K carbon face is a step down from the 24K carbon used on Elite and Pro, which fits its entry-level position in the range.

Is the Pallap Power Team good for beginners?

Not as a first racket. It is still a diamond, with a smaller sweet spot than a round or teardrop frame. Pallap's own Evoforce Team, a teardrop, is a gentler starting point.

How heavy is the Pallap Power Team?

Retailers agree on 355 to 360g.

What core does the Pallap Power Team use?

EVA 28 foam, the same core family used across every other Power racket we stock, under a 12K carbon face on a Dual Carbon frame.
