Wilson Defy V1 LS Special Edition Padel Racket (2026)

£164.40

The Wilson Defy V1 LS Special Edition padel racket is the lightest racket in the 2026 Defy Special Edition line: a diamond of 355 to 365 g with a Comfort Flex face and a soft Power Foam core, for attacking intermediate and advanced players. Padelful calls it quick and lively with very high ball exit and easy spin.

No source gives a balance figure for this edition, so we do not either. Padelful says it is high but kept in check by the low weight.

What the LS Special Edition is

LS marks the light build. Zona de Padel lists 355 to 365 g, a 38 mm profile, 3D roughness on the faces, a half-soft foam core and carbon and fibreglass construction. Its description talks about speed, lightness and comfortable control, even though its spec line says power.

Padelful's reviewer found quick-reaction volleys at the net, easy spin on víboras and a lively exit on blocks. The costs are a less authoritative smash and a high rebound that makes defensive touch harder.

Table of where sources differ on the Wilson Defy LS V1 Special Edition: 355-365 g, high balance kept in check by weight with no figure, Comfort Flex face, Power Foam or half-soft foam core, intermediate-advanced or advanced level and a white and gold finish at one shop

How it compares with the standard Defy LS V1

Padelful scored the 2025 Defy LS V1 at 8.9 for control, 8.0 for power and 8.5 for sweet spot. For the SE it gives 7.0 for control, 8.0 for power, 8.0 for sweet spot and 8.6 for manoeuvrability, with rebound at 9.2. No source we read lists a spec change, and Zona de Padel's page does not compare the two.

The sensible reading is that you are buying the same light diamond with a Special Edition look. Treat the control gap as one reviewer's view of one racket, not a measured fact.

Table of Padelful ratings for the Wilson Defy LS V1 2025 and the LS V1 Special Edition 2026: power 8.0 and 8.0, control 8.9 and 7.0, sweet spot 8.5 and 8.0, manoeuvrability 8.5 and 8.6, rebound not checked and 9.2
