adidas Cross It Team Light Padel Racket 2026

£124

The adidas Cross It Team Light padel racket is the lightest soft racket in the Cross It range: round, with a fibreglass face and an EVA Soft Performance core, listed at 345 to 360 g. It suits players who value an easy swing and comfort, lighter players, and defenders who build points with placement.

Padelful scores it 7.7 overall, with handling at 8.9 and rebound at 8.2. Power is the low number at 6.3, and reviewers describe a muted counterattack. It is a racket for building points, not finishing them.

Cross It Team Light review: easy, quick and short on bite

Padelful's page, drawing on Pádel Review, Racket Fits and Racket Central, describes a very easy swing, strong defensive ball output and quick work on the chiquita and blocks. Racket Fits calls it ultra-light and control-oriented, with a stable, user-friendly feel. Racket Central says it is control-first and more forgiving than the Metalbone line.

Where it gives ground is attack. Padelful lists limited finishing power, a muted counterattack and less bite on hard hits, and says the fibreglass face softens the feel but limits power on aggressive finishes. If your game depends on the smash, look elsewhere.

Balance is the one point that does not line up. The review text calls it head-light, while our listing and the licensee data say medium. Either way, expect it to feel very light in the hand.

Team Light or Team Ctrl?

Both are soft fibreglass round rackets. The Cross It Team Ctrl is listed 15 g heavier at 360 to 375 g and scores higher for power, 7.2 against 6.3, and for sweet spot. The Team Light wins on handling, rebound and control.

If you want a carbon face on a similar light frame, the Cross It Light takes the same weight band to a 24K face. For other soft starters, the adidas Drive Light is the usual alternative.
