ASICS Game FF Padel Shoes, Men's 2026
7 · £61.49
The ASICS Game FF Padel is the lightest shoe in ASICS's padel range that we list, a 322 g FlyteFoam trainer with a split padel outsole, for beginners and once-a-week players with narrow feet who want something quick and comfortable from the first session.
Tennis Warehouse Europe lists no break-in and calls it speedy and flexible out of the box. The catch is the fit, which is narrow with a low arch, so it suits some feet very well and others not at all.
- 322 g per shoe (US 10.5)
- FlyteFoam cushioning
- Split outsole, high-abrasion rubber
- TRUSSTIC and mid-foot shank
- Narrow fit, low arch

What the Game FF Padel gives you
ASICS built the Game FF around FlyteFoam, its light midsole foam, with a mid-foot shank and TRUSSTIC support underneath to stop the shoe twisting when you plant and push off sideways. For 2026 the brand says it worked on ventilation and flexibility, and Tennis Warehouse Europe describes a softer, more breathable upper. The FF in the name is FlyteFoam.
What it does not have is the GEL that ASICS lists on the Gel-Dedicate 9 and Gel-Challenger 15. That keeps the weight down, and the price, but it also means less padding under the heel. For a couple of hours a week that's rarely an issue. For three matches back to back on a Saturday you may notice it.
The outsole on sand-filled turf
Padel courts in the UK are almost all artificial turf topped with sand, which punishes a tennis shoe's smooth sole and a running shoe's foam. The Game FF has a padel-specific outsole in ASICS's high-abrasion rubber, split in two pieces so the forefoot and heel can flex separately; the split also saves weight. It's designed to grip the turf while still letting you slide a little into a wide ball, which is how padel footwork works.
Our padel shoes page explains the herringbone, omni and hybrid patterns, and why a padel outsole matters more than anything else about the shoe.
Game FF Padel sizing: true length, narrow width, low arch
Length is true to size on Tennis Warehouse Europe's chart, and ASICS's own sizing puts a 28 cm foot in a UK 9. Width is the thing to check. The Game FF is listed as narrow with a low arch; the Gel-Challenger 15 is also narrow but has a medium arch, and the Gel-Dedicate 9 is medium width. If ordinary trainers feel snug across the ball of your foot, this is not your ASICS.
Our listing runs from 7 to 12.5 in half sizes. If you're between two sizes, the narrow last argues for the larger one, not the smaller.

Game FF against the other ASICS padel shoes
Wilson's Courtglide is a similar entry-level padel shoe from another brand, and Wilson's lighter Hurakn Pro V2 is its step up. ASICS sells two entry shoes, the Game FF and the Gel-Dedicate 9, a mid-price Gel-Challenger 15 Padel, and the premium Gel-Resolution X Padel. Each step adds weight, cushioning and support. The Game FF is the light, simple end of that range.

Game FF Padel or Game FF Clay/OC?
ASICS also makes a Game FF for clay and omni courts, and we list it as the Game FF Clay/OC. It's a tennis shoe with a sole made for loose clay and sand-dressed carpet courts. On a padel court, buy the Padel version described here; the outsole is the reason it exists. ASICS does the same with its heavier model, the Gel-Resolution X Clay alongside the Padel version.
Who should buy a different shoe
Players with wide feet, first of all, and anyone who plays several times a week or moves heavily. The Gel-Dedicate 9 gives you a wider fit for similar money, HEAD's medium-fit Motion Pro adds a TPU shank and DynaFoam, and the Gel-Resolution X adds the support a heavy mover's ankles will thank you for. The men's padel shoes page lines up other brands' lasts.
Not for you if
Your feet are wide or high-arched, you want a well-padded heel for long sessions, or you play most days. The Game FF is built to be light first.
Insoles, the women's version and the rest of your kit
If you want more under your heel without a heavier shoe, a Karakal Performance Insole is an easy upgrade, as long as the narrow shoe has room for it. There is a women's Game FF Padel on ASICS's women's last.
