Black Crown Win Carbon Padel Racket (2025)

£126

The Black Crown Win Carbon padel racket is a 3K carbon racket from 2025 with a medium-soft feel, listed at 355 to 370 g over a Black EVA SSB core. It sits below the Piton and Special lines in the range, and Padelful scores it 7.1 overall.

Sources do not agree on what shape it is. Padelful says tear with a head-heavy balance, most retailers say round with a low balance and one says hybrid. We set out the split so you can decide, and we suggest weighing the racket when it arrives.

Win Carbon review: comfortable, controlled and not a power racket

Padelful's scores put control first at 7.5, then rebound 7.4, sweet spot 7.1 and manoeuvrability 7.0, with power last at 6.4. The reviewer calls the racket responsive and comfortable, with reduced vibration, and says the sweet spot is slightly demanding and the racket may ask for a bit of skill.

It is a lower-scoring racket than the other Black Crowns we cover, and that is fine: the Win Carbon is a step down in the range, not a flagship. If you want a carbon face and a soft feel without paying for a top-end racket, that is the case for it.

Bar chart of Padelful ratings for the Black Crown Win Carbon 2025: control 7.5, rebound 7.4, sweet spot 7.1, manoeuvrability 7.0, power 6.4 and overall 7.1

Round, tear or hybrid? Head-heavy or low?

Padelful calls the Win Carbon a tear with a head-heavy balance and credits that balance with strong overheads. Most retailers call it round with a low balance, which would make it the opposite: a handle-heavy racket that is easier on the arm. One shop lists hybrid and medium, and also says 12K carbon rather than 3K.

The core is the one thing every source agrees on, an SSB Black EVA, and nobody gives a balance figure in millimetres. We would not buy this racket for its shape. Check it in your hand, and if the balance matters to you, ask us before you order.

Table comparing Padelful and most retailers on the Black Crown Win Carbon 2025: shape, weight, balance, face, core and feel

Who should skip the Win Carbon

Players who want power and anyone who needs to know the balance before buying. Power is the lowest score and the shape is disputed. Beginners can start with our beginner padel rackets page, and the intermediate padel rackets page lists stronger choices. If you want a lighter carbon-framed racket, the Win Ultralight is under 300 g, and the 2026 Win Global is a round soft racket at a normal weight.

Not for you if

You want power, you need a settled shape and balance before buying or you want a higher-scoring racket. Power is 6.4 on Padelful and sources split on shape.

Setting up a Win Carbon

Add a racket protector and a fresh overgrip from the padel grips range. Use consistent padel balls, wear padel shoes built for the turf and carry it in a padel bag with a thermal pocket.

Black Crown Win Carbon Padel Racket (2025): questions people ask

Is the Black Crown Win Carbon the same as the Win Ultralight?

No. They are separate 2025 rackets in the Win line. The Win Carbon has a 3K carbon face and the Win Ultralight is the lighter version, which has its own page.

Is the Black Crown Win Carbon round or teardrop?

Sources disagree. Padelful says tear and most retailers say round, with one saying hybrid. Weigh and handle it before deciding.

Is the Win Carbon head heavy?

Padelful says head-heavy, while most retailers say low balance. We cannot settle it from listings, and nobody publishes a figure in millimetres.

Is the Win Carbon a good beginner racket?

It is a gentler racket than the Piton or Special line, with a medium-soft feel. Padelful says the sweet spot is slightly demanding, so a first-timer may prefer the Viva.

How heavy is the Black Crown Win Carbon?

Most listings give 355 to 370 g. One Dutch retailer lists 340 to 355 g, so check the weight on the listing you buy.

Is the Win Carbon a power racket?

No. Power is its lowest Padelful score at 6.4, and control leads at 7.5.
