Black Crown Win Ultralight Padel Racket (2025)

£111

The Black Crown Win Ultralight padel racket is one of the lightest adult rackets we list, at about 280 to 300 g, with a soft Black EVA SSB core and a carbon frame. It is built for beginner and intermediate players who want a racket that is easy to swing and forgiving, and it makes no attempt at power.

Padelful scores it 7.1 overall, with rebound at 8.9 and power at 5.4. Shape is round on most retailers and tear on Padelful, and the balance is low or even depending on the source.

Win Ultralight review: light, lively and short on power

At 280 to 300 g this racket is 55 to 90 g lighter than a standard adult racket like the Win Carbon. That is the whole point. It swings quickly, tires the arm less over a long session and lets you get set late without feeling clumsy. Padelful scores manoeuvrability at 7.1 and highlights control, comfort and a forgiving sweet spot.

The trade is power, which scores 5.4. A light racket has little mass to put behind a smash, and the review says power is secondary to control. The rebound score of 8.9 shows the soft core still returns the ball, but you will do the work with your arm, not the racket.

How light is ultralight?

Most retailers list 280 to 300 g, Padelgids says 290 to 305 g and one South African shop says about 300 g. Our own listing carries no weight at all, so we use the retailer range and suggest you treat it as a guide. The heavier Win Carbon is 355 to 370 g, and even the Piton Junior is listed at 310 to 330 g.

Shape and balance are disputed. Most listings call the head round, Padelful says tear, and balance is low on some pages and even on another. None gives a figure in millimetres.

Who should skip the Win Ultralight

Players who want to hit hard, strong players and anyone who prefers a racket that feels planted against fast balls. A very light racket gets pushed around by heavy hitting. If you want a first racket at a normal weight, our beginner padel rackets page has options, and the cheap padel racket page compares prices. A heavier soft round racket from the same brand is the Win Global. A heavier soft starter is the Enebe Astra, and the Enebe Point Light is a soft alternative with a disputed weight.

Not for you if

You want power, you are strong and tall or you want a planted feel. Power scores 5.4 on Padelful and a light racket moves around against pace.

Setting up a Win Ultralight

A racket protector adds a few grams, which you will notice on a racket this light, so fit one deliberately. Choose an overgrip from the padel grips range, use consistent padel balls, wear proper padel shoes and carry it in a padel bag.

Most retailers and Padelful say about 280 to 300 g. Padelgids lists 290 to 305 g, and one shop says about 300 g.

Is the Black Crown Win Ultralight the same as the Win Carbon?

No. They are separate 2025 rackets. The Win Ultralight is the light, soft one, and the Win Carbon is a standard-weight 3K carbon racket.

Is the Win Ultralight good for beginners?

Yes. Padelful points it at beginner and intermediate players, and the light weight and soft core are easy to handle.

Does the Win Ultralight have any power?

Not much. Power scores 5.4 on Padelful, and the review says control and comfort matter more than power.

Is the Win Ultralight round or teardrop?

Most retailers say round and Padelful says tear. Neither source gives a balance point in millimetres.

Is there a junior version of the Win Ultralight?

Black Crown sells a Win Ultralight Junior, which we list separately. Check its own spec sheet before assuming it matches the adult racket.
