The Dunlop Nanomax Pro padel racket is a versatile mid-range racket of about 365 g, with a Pro EVA core, a rough Extra Grip face and a graphite frame, for players who want a balance of control, power and manoeuvrability. It is the heavier sibling of the Nanomax Lite.

What the Nanomax Pro is

Padel Reference lists a teardrop racket of 365 g with a balanced weight distribution, a Pro EVA core, a graphite frame and a rough Extra Grip face, with straight holes. It describes a versatility racket for players who want a mix of control, power and manoeuvrability, with the rough surface helping spin. A UK retailer describes the Pro EVA as high-density, firm and responsive, and durable.

Padel Reference's expert ratings are modest, power 7, control 8, comfort 8, manoeuvrability 8, effect 6 and tolerance 8. That is a rounded, forgiving racket rather than one built for attack.

Table of where sellers disagree on the Dunlop Nanomax Pro 2026: hybrid or teardrop, 360 to 370 or 365 g, even, medium or balanced, graphite and fibreglass, Pro EVA core and level

Hybrid or teardrop, and which season is which

A UK retailer lists the Pro as a hybrid and gives a weight of 360 to 370 g with an even balance, while Padel Reference and Zona de Pádel say teardrop and Padelspeed calls the balance medium. Level ranges from beginner and occasional players on Skorpionas to intermediate and advanced on Padel Reference.

The season matters more. Most 2026 listings give a graphite frame with a fibreglass face, while the 2025 listing shows a carbon frame and face and a diamond head. Padelspeed notes that the 2025 listings are not fully consistent, so we cannot say how the two compare in the hand. Our Nanomax Pro 2025 is a separate page.

Nanomax Pro or Nanomax Lite

The Nanomax Lite (and last season's Nanomax Lite 2025) is the lighter, lower-balance version aimed at beginners, so the Pro is the one for a player who has outgrown it. For a carbon-faced Dunlop at the next level up, the Galactica Team is the intermediate choice, and the 2026 FX Team sits above it. If you want a diamond for attacking, the Tristorm Pro is the improver choice.

Add fresh padel balls, an overgrip from our padel grips range, proper padel shoes and a racket protector. Our guide to choosing a padel racket covers weight and shape, and the full padel racket range has the rest.

Not for you if

You want a carbon attacking racket, or you want every seller to agree on the shape and level first.
