HEAD Padel Team Balls, Box of 24 Tubes

£83.77

HEAD Padel Team balls are HEAD's club and training ball, and this box holds 24 sealed, pressurised tubes of three: 72 balls for coaches, clubs and regular groups who get through balls faster than a tube at a time.

It's the case you buy to fill a coaching basket or stock a club night, not the ball you'd pick for a final. For that, HEAD makes the Pro S+ and Pro+.

What the Padel Team is for

HEAD's ball range runs from the tournament balls at the top, the firmer Pro S+ for cold courts and the control-minded Pro+ dozen, down to club balls such as the Padel One and the Padel Team. Retailers describe the Team as a pressurised training-grade ball for clubs, academies and high-volume use, and it's sold that way: by the case.

We haven't found a HEAD spec sheet for the Team, and the retail descriptions don't agree on how fast it plays. One calls it consistent and durable; another pitches it at novices with a slower, more controllable bounce. So we won't claim more than we can stand behind: it's HEAD's volume ball, sealed in pressurised cans, sold here in the 24-tube box.

Who a box of 24 makes sense for

Coaches running group sessions, where a basket of balls matters more than any one ball's bounce. Clubs that sell balls at the desk or put fresh tubes out for social nights. League captains and regular fours who would otherwise buy a tube every week. If you play once a fortnight with friends, though, a box is too many balls to keep fresh; a single tube, a two-tube Pro S+ bipack or a dozen suits you better.

Keeping a case lively to the last tube

A pressurised can holds its pressure until you open it, so the simplest rule is to open only what a session needs. Keep the box somewhere cool and dry rather than a car boot or a hot shed, write the date on each lid you open, and use the hip-to-knee drop test before play: if a ball no longer bounces back to knee height from hip height, it belongs in the coaching basket, not the match.

For half-used tubes between sessions, a HEAD X4 pressuriser or another tin from padel ball pressurisers keeps them going for longer. No maker publishes a lifespan in hours, HEAD included, so the drop test is the honest measure.

Not for you if

You play only occasionally, your league names a specific match ball, or you want a tournament ball for competition. A tube or dozen of the ball you need will serve you better.

Five tips for storing a case of HEAD Padel Team balls: keep tubes sealed, store cool and dry, date what you open, drop-test before play and pressurise part-used tubes

Rackets and kit for a coaching session

Group sessions tend to mean beginners, and beginners do best with a forgiving racket. HEAD's Vibe 2025 and Evo Speed are light teardrops for first-year players, and best padel racket for beginners has more. Every ball we sell is on padel balls, and grips, bags and other kit are on padel accessories.

HEAD Padel Team Balls, Box of 24 Tubes: questions people ask

Are HEAD Padel Team balls the same as HEAD Padel One?

No. Both are HEAD club balls, but the Padel Team is the volume ball sold here by the case of 24 tubes, while the Padel One is sold by the tube and the dozen.

Are HEAD Padel Team balls good for beginners?

They suit beginners in group sessions and club nights, where you need plenty of balls. For a competitive match, use the ball your league names or a tournament ball such as the Pro S+.

HEAD Padel Team or Pro S+: which should a club stock?

A sensible split is both: the Team by the case for coaching and social play, and the Pro S+ for matches, especially on cold outdoor courts in winter.

How should I store a box of padel balls?

Keep the tubes sealed until you need them, store the box somewhere cool and dry, and date each tube you open. A pressuriser keeps part-used tubes lively between sessions.

How many balls are in a HEAD Padel Team box?

Seventy-two: 24 sealed tubes with three balls in each.
