Head Vibe 2025 Padel Racket

£59.99

The Head Vibe 2025 padel racket is HEAD's light entry teardrop from the 2025 season: 350 g, a fibreglass face over Power Foam and an oversize 525 cm² head, made for new and casual players who want a forgiving racket that's easy to swing.

HEAD carried the same mould into 2026 with new colours, so this is not an old design so much as last season's paint. For a first racket, that's usually good news.

Same racket, earlier colours

HEAD's 2026 Vibe keeps the 2025 product code stem, the same published weight, beam, core and face, and the same shape. What changed is the paint. Our Head Vibe 2026 page compares the two editions line by line; the short version is that if the 2025 colourway suits you, you're buying the same frame.

One small note on the listings: Tennis Nuts describes the 2025 face as having a moulded texture, while its 2026 page and Padelful call the face smooth. HEAD hasn't published a texture change, so treat it as a light finish either way rather than a spin face.

Built around a bigger sweet spot

Everything in HEAD's 2025 feature list points the same way. The frame is tubeless, which HEAD says lets the foam run right out to the edges. The head is oversize at 525 cm² on Tennis Nuts' sheet, roughly a tenth larger than HEAD rackets nearer 470 cm². The face is fibreglass, which gives on contact and takes the sting out of a mishit, and HEAD adds Innegra for shock absorption and an Integrated Protector System on the frame.

For someone in their first year, that combination matters more than any single number. Off-centre hits still go back over the net, and the arm doesn't pay for it the next morning.

How a Head Vibe plays

Padelful has reviewed the 2026 edition, which shares this mould. It scores manoeuvrability and rebound 8.5, sweet spot 8, control 7 and power 6.5, and describes a soft racket with easy ball exit from short swings and quick hands at the net. The trade-offs it lists are the ones you'd expect at this weight: less stability against heavy balls, limited smash power and little spin from the face.

HEAD's sheet gives the balance as 265 mm, while Tennis Nuts lists it as low and head-light. Either way it sits nearer your hand than most rackets, which is why it feels so quick.

Scaled outlines comparing head size: the Head Vibe 2025 at 525 cm² against the Coello Team 2026 at 475 cm² and the Speed Motion 2023 at 465 cm²

Vibe 2025 or another HEAD first racket?

HEAD's entry teardrops are close, so it helps to know what separates them. The Evo Speed is the same 350 g on a softer Soft Foam with a 270 mm balance. The Coello Vibe is a little heavier with Arturo Coello's name on it. And the round Radical Team Light, at 340 g, is the lightest HEAD racket in this group for players who want control over pace.

Not for you if

You already hit hard and want the racket to add power, you want spin from a rough face, or you play against strong hitters who will push a light racket around. A heavier teardrop such as the Speed Team will hold up better.

Kit for a first racket

Add an overgrip straight away; the soft HEAD Xtreme Soft three-pack suits a comfort racket, and padel grips explains the options. The frame has HEAD's protector system, but a strip from the racket protector range along the top still saves it from the glass.

New players get the most from a steady ball such as the Head Padel One tube; padel balls explains the rest. A Head Tour S bag or anything on padel bags will carry it, and padel shoes has court shoes. Head Vibe 2025 Padel Racket: questions people ask

Is the Head Vibe 2025 different from the Head Vibe 2026?

Only in colour, as far as HEAD has published. The 2026 keeps the same weight, core, face, beam and shape, and its product code keeps the 2025 stem.

Is the Head Vibe 2025 a good first padel racket?

Yes. It is light, has an oversize 525 cm² head and a fibreglass face, all of which make off-centre hits more forgiving. Players who already hit hard will outgrow it.

Head Vibe 2025 or Head Evo Speed: which should a beginner buy?

Both are 350 g teardrops. The Vibe uses livelier Power Foam and an oversize head; the Evo Speed uses softer Soft Foam with a slightly higher 270 mm balance. Pick the Vibe for easier pace and the Evo Speed for the softest feel.

How big is the head on the Head Vibe 2025?

Tennis Nuts lists 525 cm², an oversize head by HEAD's standards. The other HEAD rackets we have a figure for sit at 465 to 475 cm².

How do I protect a Head Vibe 2025?

HEAD fits its Integrated Protector System to the frame, but adding protector tape along the top still helps against the glass. Keep it in a cover and out of hot cars, which soften the foam.
