Nox Pro Cup Hard Padel Racket 2027 by Agustin Tapia

£157.49

The Nox Pro Cup Hard padel racket is Agustin Tapia's teardrop built in aluminised fibreglass over a firm HR3 Hard EVA core: 360 to 375 g, a medium balance, a carbon frame and a textured Spin Surface face. It's for intermediate and advanced players who already swing through the ball and want control and a direct feel without paying for carbon.

This is the 2027 edition. Nox dropped the AT10 prefix from the name this season, and no listing we found mentions any change to the build.

Hard or Soft: the only real decision

The Pro Cup comes in two versions on the same teardrop mould and the same aluminised fibreglass face. What changes is the core, and it changes a lot. On Padelful's scores for the 2026 editions, the Hard rates 9.1 for control and 7.1 for rebound; the AT10 Pro Cup Soft is almost exactly the reverse, 9.1 for rebound and 7.4 for control. Power, handling and sweet spot sit within half a point of each other.

In plain terms, the Soft throws the ball off the face for you and the Hard waits for you to hit it. With a full swing, the Hard puts the ball where you aimed and doesn't fly long. With a short, tentative swing, it feels dead. Padelful rates its touch medium-hard, and Padel Shack describes the 2027 version the same way.

Same mould and face; the core swaps control for rebound. Padelful scores out of 10 for the 2026 AT10 editions. The 2027 rackets have not been scored yet.

What you are paying for

The face is aluminised fibreglass, which Nox labels silver. It's more forgiving than carbon and less stiff, so the firm core does more of the talking. The frame is carbon. Padel Shack lists Nox's Spin Surface, a 3D sectorised pattern finished with silica sand, plus EOS Flap holes in the side of the frame, Pulse System rubber inserts that run down to the butt cap to damp vibration, and a Smartstrap you can replace without tools.

Zona de Padel lists it at 38 mm thick with a medium balance, and pitches it at intermediate and advanced players.

Where it sits in Nox's range

Below it, the round Equation Hard Advanced uses the same HR3 Hard core on a fibreglass face, slightly lighter at 355 to 365 g, for players who want firm control in a simpler racket. Above it, Tapia's Genius 18K Alum 2027 keeps the teardrop but moves to a carbon face and MLD Black EVA core. Lamperti's ML10 Pro Cup is the round fibreglass Pro Cup for players who want the sweet spot lower and the balance in the hand.

Specs from Padel Shack, Zona de Padel and our other Nox racket pages.

Who should buy the Hard

Intermediate players with a confident, complete swing, and advanced players who want a fibreglass racket for control. If you come from tennis and hit flat and hard, the Hard will tame it. Our teardrop padel racket page has more shapes like this, and the intermediate padel racket picks cover other brands.

Not for you if

You're new to padel, have a short swing, or have a sore elbow. A firm core asks your arm to supply the pace; the Soft version or a racket from our beginner padel rackets page will be far kinder.

Grip, protector and balls

A Nox protector on the frame saves it from the glass. A tacky overgrip from our padel grips range helps on a firm racket that asks you to commit to every shot. For balls, a tube of Nox Pro Titanium or anything from the padel balls page; for your feet, padel shoes with a herringbone sole. Comparing more widely? Nox Pro Cup Hard Padel Racket 2027 by Agustin Tapia: questions people ask

Is the Nox Pro Cup Hard 2027 the same as the AT10 Pro Cup Hard?

It is the next edition. Nox dropped the AT10 prefix for 2027, and the listed build (aluminised fibreglass, HR3 Hard core, 360 to 375 g teardrop) matches the 2026 AT10 Pro Cup Hard.

Is the Nox Pro Cup Hard good for beginners?

Not really. The firm core needs a full swing to produce pace. Beginners will get on better with the Pro Cup Soft or a softer fibreglass racket.

Nox Pro Cup Hard or Soft: which should I choose?

The Hard if you swing freely and want control; Padelful scored the 2026 Hard 9.1 for control. The Soft if you want easy depth; it scored 9.1 for rebound.

How long does a Nox Pro Cup Hard last?

It depends on how often you play and how you store it. Keep it in a cover, out of hot cars, and fit a frame protector. Every EVA core softens with heavy use over time.

How heavy is the Nox Pro Cup Hard 2027?

360 to 375 g with a medium balance and a 38 mm profile.
