Nox Pro Cup Soft Padel Racket 2027 by Agustin Tapia
£157.49
The Nox Pro Cup Soft padel racket is Agustin Tapia's teardrop shape made for improving players: an aluminised fibreglass face over a soft HR3 EVA core, 360 to 375 g, a medium balance and a carbon frame, in white for 2027. It sends the ball deep with a short swing, which is what most players in their first couple of years need more than anything.
On paper it's the 2026 AT10 Pro Cup Soft under a new name. Nox dropped the AT10 prefix for 2027, and no listing we found mentions a change to the build.

Which level is the Nox Pro Cup Soft By Agustin Tapia 2027 Padel Racket for?
By Tushan Das, Owner, Padel Depot · Updated
2026 or 2027: does it matter?
Not for how it plays, as far as anyone has published. Both seasons list the same teardrop, the same aluminised fibreglass face, the same HR3 Soft core and the same 360 to 375 g window. Padel Shack's 2027 listing even calls it the AT10 Pro Cup Soft in its description, a hangover from last year's name.
The practical difference is evidence. Padelful has tested the 2026 AT10 Pro Cup Soft and scored it 9.1 for rebound and 8.0 overall; the 2027 hasn't been scored yet. If you want the tested racket, buy the 2026. If you want this season's white racket, the 2027 should play the same.

Soft core or Hard core?
Nox makes the 2027 Pro Cup in two versions, and the core is the whole difference. The Soft gives the ball away easily: lobs from the back glass carry, blocks come back deep without a punch. The firmer Hard version does less of the work and gives you more say over where the ball goes. On Padelful's 2026 scores, each one leads the other by about two points in its strong suit, rebound for the Soft and control for the Hard.
Pick by your swing, not your ambition. If you still take the ball late or short-arm it under pressure, the Soft. If you swing through every ball, the Hard.

Build and technology
Padel Shack lists a dual-texture face, a 3D relief pattern finished with silica sand, to help the ball grip on spin. The carbon frame carries Nox's EOS Flap holes, Pulse System rubber inserts that run to the butt cap to damp vibration, and a Smartstrap wrist cord you can swap without tools. Zona de Padel lists it at 38 mm and aims it at beginners and intermediates.

Specs from Padel Shack, Zona de Padel and our other Nox racket pages.
Who it suits
Improvers who have outgrown a starter racket, club players who rely on depth from the back rather than the smash, and anyone who finds firm rackets hard work. If you prefer a round shape with the sweet spot lower down, Lamperti's ML10 Pro Cup Silver is the round fibreglass option. More teardrops are on our teardrop padel racket page, and the beginner padel rackets page covers gentler starting points.
Not for you if
You already hit hard and find balls flying long; a soft core will make that worse, and the Hard version fixes it. And if 360 g feels heavy, look at the Genius Ultralight before you commit.
What to pair it with
A Nox protector keeps the white frame tidy when it meets the glass. Fit a fresh overgrip from our padel grips range, pick up a tube of Nox Nerbo or anything from the padel balls page, and wear padel shoes with a herringbone sole. Still comparing?
