Oxdog Boost Padel Balls Dozen (12 Balls)

£20

The Oxdog Boost padel balls dozen is twelve of Oxdog's standard Boost, the ball retailers sell as a reliable all-rounder for training and matches. It's for coaches, practice sessions and weekly players who'd rather buy a month's balls in one go than a tube at a time.

We expect the dozen to be four tubes of three, since that's how Oxdog sells the ball, and we'll confirm the packing when stock arrives.

When a dozen makes sense

A dozen suits anyone feeding balls in volume: a coach running a basket drill, a pair who play three times a week, a club buying for a mixed session. For a one-off game, a single Boost tube is enough. Wholesale-style boxes of 24 tubes, 72 balls, exist for the Boost at other shops, and that is more than most players need.

How long a dozen lasts isn't something Oxdog publishes. For a rough idea, the only figure in print for any padel ball is Padel Nuestro's about three games per can, which would put four tubes at roughly twelve games.

Practice balls or match balls?

A good all-rounder is a sensible practice ball because it doesn't matter if some wear out. For match play, check whether your league requires a particular or FIP-approved ball; we couldn't confirm approval for the Boost. The Boost+ is the same idea with more attacking marketing, and Nox's Nerbo dozen is the better-documented option from another brand.

Not for you if

You need a confirmed FIP-approved ball for tournaments, or you only play occasionally. A single tube is the easier first buy.

Storing a dozen

Keep unopened tubes cool and dry, and open one at a time. Put the balls in a padel bag pocket on court days, and see the whole padel balls range for pressurisers and alternatives. Oxdog's rackets include the Hyper Pro+ 2.0 and the Ultimate Pro.

Oxdog Boost Padel Balls Dozen (12 Balls): questions people ask

How many balls are in the Oxdog Boost dozen?

Twelve, which we expect to arrive as four tubes of three. We will confirm the packing when stock arrives.

Are Oxdog Boost balls good for coaching?

They are sold as a durable all-rounder for training, so they suit practice work. Check approval if you coach for a league.

What is the difference between Oxdog Boost and Boost+ by the dozen?

Boost is the all-round ball; Boost+ is sold as the faster, more attacking one. Listings disagree on the Boost+ pressure details.

How long does a dozen Oxdog Boost balls last?

Oxdog gives no figure. The only published rule of thumb for any padel ball is about three games per can, so a dozen is roughly a dozen games.
