Raquex Elite Padel Racket

£133.99

The Raquex Elite padel racket is a diamond for advanced, attacking players: 365 g, a 38 mm profile and a 455 mm length, with an 18K carbon face, an ImpactCore EVA 15 core and a SpinTec surface. Retailers list its balance point at 265 mm, which they call mid, and describe a high sweet spot for a diamond.

It is the older sibling of the Elite Evo 2026 and sits one step above the Excel. We found no independent review of the standard Elite, so everything here comes from retailer listings and blog posts, and the page says which is which.

What the Raquex Elite is, on paper

A retailer lists the Elite as a diamond for advanced players who attack. The numbers: 365 g, a 38 mm profile, a 455 mm length, an 18K carbon face over an ImpactCore EVA 15 foam core, and a SpinTec surface designed to bite the ball. The same retailer lists a mid balance with the balance point at 265 mm and a high sweet spot.

A 265 mm balance point on a 455 mm racket sits a little past the middle, measured from the handle, which fits a diamond. It is a firm, attacking build and not a soft, forgiving one.

Elite, Elite Evo or Excel?

The three Raquex rackets we have the most data on share a platform. The Elite Evo 2026 matches the Elite at 365 g, 38 mm and 455 mm with the same 18K carbon and ImpactCore core, and Raquex describes it as an evolution: a 3D surface replaces SpinTec and the grip is upgraded. Its balance is inconsistent across sources, mid on one listing and mid to high in the copy.

The Raquex Excel is also listed at 365 g, but uses a 12K carbon build, which is the lower-cost route, and a hybrid or teardrop head that retailers say is more forgiving than a diamond. We could not confirm its balance point or dimensions. If you want the Raquex diamond with the newest face and grip, take the Evo; if you want the same weight with a less costly build, look at the Excel.

Table comparing the Raquex Elite, Elite Evo 2026 and Excel: shape, weight, profile, balance point, carbon grade, core and face

What 18K carbon and a SpinTec face mean for you

An 18K carbon face is a finer weave than the 12K on the Excel and is typically stiffer, so the Elite should feel crisper off the face and give a firmer response, which is what attackers want. The SpinTec surface is a textured finish meant to grip the ball for spin. Both are claims from retailer copy; we have not tested them.

The trade-off with a stiff diamond is a smaller, higher sweet spot and a racket that is hard work in defence. It is a racket for a player who finishes at the net.

Who should skip the Raquex Elite

Anyone who needs a review behind the purchase, anyone who defends more than they attack, and anyone new to the game. For a diamond with independent ratings, look at the adidas Metalbone or the Vertex 05 by Bullpadel, and see our diamond padel rackets page.

Not for you if

You are still learning to place the ball, you want a forgiving sweet spot, or you need a measured test result. A round racket is the safer buy.

Setting up an Elite

Fit a racket protector. Raquex also makes bags and grips we list: the Elite racket bag, the Evade Pro overgrip 3 pack and pink Elite padel balls. The padel grips, padel balls and padel bag pages have more, and padel shoes matter on sand-filled turf.

Raquex Elite Padel Racket: questions people ask

Is the Raquex Elite the same as the Elite Evo?

Not quite. They share a platform at 365 g and 265 mm, but the Evo has a 3D surface in place of the Elite's SpinTec and an upgraded grip.

Is the Raquex Elite a diamond racket?

Yes, per retailers and our catalogue. It is aimed at advanced, attacking players.

What is the difference between the Raquex Elite and the Excel?

The Elite has an 18K carbon face and a diamond shape; the Excel is a hybrid or teardrop with a 12K carbon build.

How heavy is the Raquex Elite?

Listed at 365 g with a 265 mm balance point and a 38 mm profile.

Is the Raquex Elite good for intermediate players?

It is aimed at advanced players. A stiff diamond asks for clean timing, so most intermediates will do better on a round or teardrop head first.

How do I protect a carbon racket?

Fit a frame protector, keep it out of hot cars and wipe the face after damp sessions. Heat and glass impacts do most of the damage.
