Raquex Elite Evo Padel Racket 2026

£139.94

The Raquex Elite Evo padel racket is the 2026 update of the Raquex Elite: a 365 g diamond with an 18K carbon face, an ImpactCore EVA 15 core, a 38 mm profile and a 265 mm balance point, now with a 3D surface in place of the old SpinTec face and an upgraded grip. It is for intermediate to advanced players who attack at the net.

A retailer's blog calls it a performance racket with easy power from an aggressive frame, especially on overheads, volleys and attacking bandejas and víboras. That blog is the nearest thing to a review we found, and it comes from the shop that sells it, so we treat its verdict with care.

Raquex Elite Evo against the Elite: what changed

Very little, by design. Raquex describes the Evo as an evolution of the Elite: the weight, profile, length, 18K carbon, core and 265 mm balance point match. The two changes are the face, a 3D surface replacing SpinTec to add a little power while keeping control, and an upgraded grip. Balance is labelled mid on one listing and mid to high in the copy, but the millimetre figure is the same.

So the choice is mostly about texture and hand feel. If you already like the Elite, the Evo is a refinement. If you are comparing the two for the first time, the difference will be small enough that stock and colour may decide it.

How it should feel, going by the retailer

The shop's blog places the sweet spot in the upper-middle to the upper part of the face, a reading of the spec and the racket's power shape, and not a measurement. That is what you would expect of a diamond. It also says the racket is for players who want easy power from an aggressive frame and cautions that a player who needs comfort-first forgiveness may be better served by a rounder, less expensive racket.

That matches the numbers. An 18K face and a firm core give a crisp, fast response, and a 265 mm balance point puts weight towards the head. Expect a racket that rewards a clean, early swing and punishes a late one.

Where it sits in the Raquex range

The Evo is the top of the Raquex line we carry. Below it, the Elite keeps the SpinTec face, and the Excel uses a 12K carbon build at the same weight. The Evion rackets are hybrids, and the round Eclipse is the control option.

If you want the diamond with the newest face, this is the one. If you need something gentler, start with the Eclipse or look at the control rackets on our control padel rackets page.

Who should skip the Elite Evo

Anyone who wants a soft, forgiving first racket, anyone who defends more than they attack, and anyone who needs an independent test before spending. For a diamond with independent ratings, the adidas Metalbone and the Bullpadel Vertex 05 racket are better documented; our diamond padel rackets page lists the others.

Not for you if

You are new to padel, you want a forgiving sweet spot, or you need a measured review. A round racket will suit you better.

Setting up an Elite Evo

Fit a racket protector first. Raquex sells matching kit we list: the Elite racket bag, the Evade Pro overgrip 3 pack and pink Elite padel balls. The padel grips, padel balls and padel bag pages have more, and padel shoes matter on sand-filled turf.

Raquex Elite Evo Padel Racket 2026: questions people ask

What is the difference between the Raquex Elite Evo and the Elite?

The face and the grip. The Evo has a 3D surface instead of SpinTec and an upgraded grip; weight, balance point, carbon and core match.

Is the Raquex Elite Evo the 2026 Elite?

Raquex describes the Evo as an evolution of the Elite for 2026, and the platform is the same, so in practice yes, with a new face and grip.

Is the Raquex Elite Evo good for intermediate players?

A retailer says intermediate to advanced attackers. A head-heavy, stiff diamond still asks for clean timing, so a less experienced player should be careful.

How heavy is the Raquex Elite Evo?

Listed at 365 g, with a 38 mm profile, a 455 mm length and a 265 mm balance point.

Is the Elite Evo head-heavy?

The balance point is 265 mm. One listing calls the balance mid and the copy says mid to high, so treat it as a diamond with weight towards the head.

Has the Raquex Elite Evo been independently reviewed?

We found no independent review. The closest thing is a retailer blog from the shop that sells it.
