Softee Gold Protector for Padel Rackets
£2.47
The Softee gold protector is a patterned adhesive strip for the top of a padel racket's frame, black with gold and white graphics, sold by Padel Nuestro as the Gold Softee Geometry protector. It's for players who want the frame protected and don't mind the strip being seen.
Detail is thin. Our photo prints "38MM" at both ends of the strip, but retailers give no length, thickness, pack count or adhesive, so we state what the photo shows and no more.

What you can see, and what you can't
The strip is a dark base with gold and white shapes, a central SOFTEE print and a small logo at each end, and 38MM printed at both ends. We read that as the width, but nobody confirms it. Padel Nuestro sells it as part of the Geometry range, with a silver version beside it.
What retailers leave out is the useful part: strip length, thickness, how many come in the pack and what the adhesive is. If a precise fit matters, hold a ruler to your frame and ask us.
Gold, transparent or another brand?
If you'd rather the protector disappeared, Softee's transparent protector is the plain alternative. Other brands' strips are on our padel racket protector page, and Nox's frame protector comes in clear, black and blue.
| Protector | Look | Choose it if |
|---|---|---|
| Softee gold (this page) | Black with gold graphics | You like a bold strip |
| Softee transparent | Clear | You want it invisible |
| the standard Nox frame guard | Clear, black or blue | You want a choice of finishes |
| Oxdog No1 | 372 x 40 mm, clear to white | You want published dimensions |
From retailer listings and our own pages.
Not for you if
You want known dimensions or a pack of spares. The Oxdog strip publishes its size, and Bullpadel's Frame Guard comes three to a pack.
Fitting it and what it suits
Clean and dry the top of the frame, peel the backing gradually and press from the middle outwards, then leave it overnight. It suits any racket, including Softee's own Phantom and Trionic Lite. More small kit is in our padel accessories range, and the full padel racket range is the place to compare frames.
