adidas Cross It Carbon Maxi Arce 2025 Padel Racket

£199.80

The adidas Cross It Carbon Maxi Arce 2025 is last season's signature diamond: a head-heavy racket with a 6K carbon face and an EVA Soft Performance core, listed at 360 to 375 g. It suits developing attackers who want power without flagship demands, and it has since been superseded by the 2026 Cross It Carbon.

PadelRacketReviews scores it 83 out of 100, with power at 82 and sweet spot at 69. It is a lively, balanced racket and not a specialist. One review site carries most of the evidence, so read the numbers as a guide.

Cross It Carbon 2025 review: balanced and lively

PadelRacketReviews, which tests a large catalogue of rackets, scores the 2025 Cross It Carbon 83 out of 100, in the top 22 per cent of its tests. Power is 82, control 74, manoeuvrability 72, comfort 70 and sweet spot 69. It describes a 6K face that gives lively feedback without harshness, a racket that plays well over long sessions and a balanced power and control profile.

The same review lists the downsides: weight and balance documentation is incomplete, so check it in hand; there is no standout strength for a specialist; and the flagship Cross It rackets hit harder. It calls this adidas's mid-tier signature done sensibly.

The review gives a balance of 265 mm, head heavy, and a weight of 360 to 375 g. It lists level as professional in one place and suitable for intermediates in another, so the level is not clear. We read it as an attacking racket for improvers with some technique.

2025 or 2026 Cross It Carbon?

On paper they are twins: diamond, 6K carbon, EVA Soft Performance and 360 to 375 g. The review site says the 2026 Cross It Carbon succeeded this one but gives no 2026 specs of its own. Our page for the 2026 Cross It Carbon uses Padelful's scores, which are on a different scale, so the two cannot be compared directly.

If the 2025 racket is the better value, it is a sound pick for a player who wants a head-heavy diamond without the heavier hitting of the Cross It 3.4. If you want a round racket instead, the Cross It Ctrl is the controlled option.

Table comparing the adidas Cross It Carbon 2025 Maxi Arce with the 2026 racket on shape, balance, weight, face, core and review score

Who should skip the 2025 Cross It Carbon

Anyone who wants a forgiving sweet spot or a specialist. The sweet spot is the lowest score, and the review says it has no standout strength. If you are still developing, the intermediate padel rackets page and the round Cross It Carbon Ctrl are kinder.

Not for you if

You want a forgiving sweet spot, you are a defender or you want the hardest hitter in the range. The review rates sweet spot at 69 and calls the flagship Cross It rackets harder hitting.

Setting up a diamond racket
