adidas Cross It Light Pro Padel Racket 2026

£269.95

The adidas Cross It Light Pro padel racket is the limited-edition version of the Cross It Light: a light, round racket for advanced control players, with a 24K aluminised carbon face, an even balance and a listed weight of 345 to 360 g. Retailers list it with Marta Ortega's signature as part of a special edition for three players.

On paper it matches the standard Cross It Light, with its own reference code. We found no independent review of the edition, so this page sets out what is published, including where listings contradict themselves.

What the Pro Edition is

A UK retailer lists the Pro Edition with a weight of 345 to 360 g, an even balance, a 38 mm profile, a 455 mm length and a centred sweet spot. The face is 24K carbon aluminised with a moulded texture, on a carbon frame. The technology list includes Dynamic Air Flow, Extra Power Grip, a 3D Spin Blade mould and Structural Reinforcement.

The same listing describes it as focused on internal strength and agile, aerodynamic movement, aimed at force and speed, spin and durability. It says the racket carries Marta Ortega's signature and belongs to a special edition representing three players: Ale Galán, Marta Ortega and Ari Sánchez.

The page contradicts itself in places. It lists the head as diamond in one spot and round in another, and names the core as both EVA Soft Energy and EVA Soft Performance. Other retailers and the licensee's data list the Light line as round, so we treat it as round.

Pro Edition or the standard Cross It Light?

Everything we can compare matches: round, 345 to 360 g, 24K face, even balance, 38 mm. The standard racket is a retailer-listed Martita Ortega model too, with a different reference code, so the Pro Edition looks like a special-edition version of the same racket. The listing does not say what changes beyond the edition and the signature.

For the standard racket, with Padelful scores for handling and rebound, see the Cross It Light. If you want more weight and a bigger sweet spot, the Cross It Ctrl sits a band heavier.

Who should skip the Pro Edition

Anyone who wants proof before they buy, power from the racket or a forgiving feel. A light racket with a 24K face is quick but gives little free power, and we found no independent test of this edition. Beginners should start on the beginner padel racket picks, and anyone wanting more pace can look at the advanced padel rackets.

Not for you if

You want free power, a forgiving sweet spot or an independent verdict. The edition has no independent review and its listings contradict each other in places.

Setting up a light racket

Fit a racket protector and a fresh adidas overgrip; the padel grips page has more choice. adidas Speed RX balls and the padel balls guide cover the rest, and padel shoes help with the quick feet this racket rewards.

More round rackets sit on the control padel rackets page, our guide to choosing a padel racket explains the trade-offs, and the full padel racket range covers the rest.

adidas Cross It Light Pro Padel Racket 2026: questions people ask

What is the adidas Cross It Light Pro Edition?

A limited-edition version of the Cross It Light, listed with Marta Ortega's signature as part of a special edition for three players. It is a light, round, even-balance racket with a 24K face.

Is the Cross It Light Pro the same as the Cross It Light Pro EDT?

Yes. EDT is the licensee's abbreviation for edition, and retailers use Pro, Pro Edition and Pro EDT for the same racket.

How does the Pro Edition differ from the standard Cross It Light?

On paper, not by much. Both are round, 345 to 360 g, with a 24K face and even balance. The edition has its own reference code and signature, and no listing explains further changes.

Is the Cross It Light Pro round or diamond?

Round. One retailer lists diamond in its spec table and round in its text, which looks like an error.

Is the Cross It Light Pro good for intermediate players?

Strong intermediates who like a quick, light racket, maybe. It gives little free power, and the licensee lists the Light line at pro level.

Is there a review of the Cross It Light Pro Edition?

We found no independent test of the edition. The standard Cross It Light has a Padelful review, covered on its own page.
