Bullpadel Wonder 27 Padel Racket

£220.47

The Bullpadel Wonder is Claudia Fernández's racket: a light, low-balanced control frame with a Fibrix face, built for players who defend well, react fast at the net and win points by keeping the ball in play. The 2027 edition weighs 350 to 360 g and has the quickest handling of Bullpadel's women's pro rackets.

Fernández was part of the pair that won the first Premier Padel event in London, at Olympia in August 2026. Her racket won't win you points with a smash, and it doesn't pretend to.

  • Hybrid to teardrop head, low balance
  • 350 to 360 g
  • Fibrix face, carbon frame
  • MultiEVA core, medium feel
  • Padelful manoeuvrability 9.2
  • Padelful sweet spot 8.6

A Wonder that got more forgiving for 2027

Bullpadel's Icon, Pearl and Elite all came out firmer and less forgiving for 2027. The Wonder went the other way. Padelful scores the 27 at 8.5 for control against 7.8 for the 26, and its sweet spot rises from 8.3 to 8.6. Handling barely moves (9.2 against 9.1), power stays where it was at about 6.8, and the feel firms a touch from medium-soft to medium.

Bullpadel credits a Wonder Core that reinforces the heart of the frame against twisting, and a CarbonTube frame for stability. Whatever the cause, the result on Padelful's scale is a racket that keeps the old Wonder's quick hands and places the ball more precisely.

Bullpadel Wonder review: quick hands, little punch

Padelful's testers found it very quick at the net, forgiving in defence and tidy on the bandeja and víbora, where you can place the ball rather than hope. The low balance is what makes the difference: in a fast volley exchange the racket is already there.

The trade is plain. Smashes lack finishing weight, hard blocks get little help from the frame, and firm volleys don't carry much punch. That's a fair price for a defender or a right-side player who sets the point up. For a left-side finisher, it's the wrong racket.

Wonder, Elite 02 or Pearl?

Bullpadel's women's pro rackets share Fibrix faces and MultiEVA cores and spread out from defence to attack. The Wonder is the defensive end. Gemma Triay's Elite 02 27 adds head weight for an all-court game, and Bea González's Pearl 27 is the attacking diamond. The sweet spot trend for 2027 makes the choice clearer still: the Wonder grew more forgiving while the Pearl went the other way.

Who the Wonder suits

Intermediate and advanced players who defend from the back glass, volley early and like a racket that's light in the hand at the end of a long match. It also suits anyone, of any gender, who wants a light control frame: the head and length are full size. Players with a sensitive elbow often prefer a low balance like this; that's an equipment choice, not medical advice. Our padel rackets for women and control padel racket pages show the alternatives.

Not for you if

You finish points with the smash, you play on the left and need the racket to add weight to an overhead, or you're in your first season and want the gentlest possible racket. Attackers want the Pearl; first-year players learn faster with a round fibreglass racket from the best padel racket for beginners page.

Bag, grip and balls for a Wonder

The Wonder racket bag matches the family. A light racket needs a secure grip when the rallies get long, so keep a fresh overgrip on it: the fluorescent pink Bullpadel overgrip comes as a single, and our padel grips page explains thickness and tack. A frame protector saves the head on low defensive scoops; see the racket protector page.

Defenders hit a lot of balls, so they notice when a tube goes flat. A tube of Bullpadel Next suits club play, and our padel balls page explains why fresh pressure matters. The women's padel shoes and the full padel shoes range cover grip on sand-dressed turf, and the Bullpadel rackets page and the whole padel racket range sit one click away. Our guide to choosing a padel racket explains balance in more depth.

Bullpadel Wonder 27 Padel Racket: questions people ask

Is the Bullpadel Wonder 27 the same as the Wonder 2026?

It is the next edition of the same line, and Padelful scores it noticeably better for control (8.5 against 7.8) and slightly better for sweet spot. Handling and power are almost unchanged.

Is the Bullpadel Wonder a good racket for intermediate players?

Yes, especially for intermediates who defend well and volley early. Its big sweet spot and quick handling forgive late contact, though it gives you little help on the smash.

Wonder or Elite 02: which should I buy?

Pick the Wonder for quick hands, defence and touch. Pick the Elite 02 if you want more head weight for bandejas and finishing a ball that sits up, at the cost of some handling.

How should I look after a Bullpadel Wonder?

Store it in a cover away from heat, fit a frame protector before the first match, and change the overgrip as soon as it turns smooth. A light racket twists in a slippery hand more than a heavy one.

How much does the Bullpadel Wonder 27 weigh?

Bullpadel lists 350 to 360 g. Shops give the balance as about 25 cm, low for a pro racket, which is why it feels so light in the hand.

Who plays the Bullpadel Wonder?

Claudia Fernández, who developed it with Bullpadel. She was part of the pair that won the London P1 at Olympia in August 2026.
