Bullpadel Elite 02 27 Padel Racket

£227.50

The Bullpadel Elite 02 is Gemma Triay's racket: a 350 to 360 g hybrid with a medium balance and a Fibrix face, made for intermediate and advanced players who win points at the net with placement rather than brute force. Bullpadel sells it in its women's range, but nothing about it stops anyone who likes a light, quick frame.

The 02 is a new mould for 2027, replacing the Elite Woman 26. The face grows to 537 cm², the feel firms up a little, and on Padelful's scores it lands neatly between the two other women's pro rackets in the range.

The middle racket of Bullpadel's women's line

Bullpadel builds a women's pro racket for several of its players, and three of them share the same Fibrix and MultiEVA recipe. Claudia Fernández's Wonder 27 is the quick, gentle one: Padelful scores its handling 9.2 and its power 6.8. Bea González's Pearl 27 is the opposite, a diamond scored 8.8 for power and 7.4 for handling. The Elite 02 sits almost exactly between them, at 7.6 for power and 8.2 for handling.

That middle position is the point of it. You get enough head weight to put a bandeja where you want it and finish a ball that sits up, without the slow hands of a diamond in a fast exchange.

What the 02 mould changed from the Elite Woman 26

Three things, and one of them you'll notice on the first rally. The hitting area grows from 524 cm² to 537 cm², which puts the Elite 02 above the standard Vertex 05 (530 cm²) and just short of the Vertex 05 Geo (541 cm²). Bullpadel also runs a new Total Channel around the frame to stiffen it against twisting, and keeps the balance at about 25.5 cm on its own scale.

The one you'll notice is the feel. Padelful rated the 26 medium-soft and rates the 02 medium, and the rebound score drops from 9.6 to 8.8. The old racket threw the ball deep with almost no effort; the new one asks for a fuller swing and gives you more say over where the ball goes. Power slips from 8.0 to 7.6 and control edges up from 7.9 to 8.0. If you loved the trampoline of the old Elite, try before you buy.

How the Elite 02 plays

Padelful's testers liked it most at the net: quick hands on fast volleys, a generous ball off the face on blocks, and a bandeja that goes deep and where it's aimed. The sweet spot scores 8.4, and the bigger face helps there.

What it won't do is end a point with a flat smash from the service line. There isn't the mass for it, low driven lobs need good timing, and anyone used to a hard EVA core will find the feedback a little muted. For a player who builds the point and finishes with a vibora or a well-placed volley, that's a fair trade, and our guide to choosing a padel racket explains why most club players should make it.

Is the Elite 02 only for women?

No. A women's racket at Bullpadel means a lighter build and a player on the box, not a smaller head or a softer level of performance; the same rules cap every padel racket at 45.5 cm. Men who want a light frame for quick net play, juniors moving up to an adult racket and players nursing a sore arm all buy this weight class. Our padel rackets for women page explains the W labels across brands.

If you'd like an even livelier, lighter Elite and don't mind an older season, the Elite Light W 23 scores higher for rebound and handling. If 350 to 360 g feels too light once you're used to it, the frame takes Bullpadel's 3 g CustomWeight plates: a set of four 3 g CustomWeight weights adds up to 12 g where you choose to put it.

Not for you if

You're in your first season, you finish points with power from the back of the box, or you want the softest, springiest feel you can find. Beginners learn faster with a round fibreglass frame such as the Ionic Light 26, and big hitters will want the Pearl or a diamond padel racket.

Setting up an Elite 02

A light racket turns quickly in a sweaty hand, so a tacky overgrip earns its place: the fluorescent pink Bullpadel overgrip suits the colours, and our padel grips page covers thickness and when to change. The Bullpadel CustomWeight protector guards the frame and carries the same weight slots.

For balls, a tube of Bullpadel Next Pro suits competitive club play, and our padel balls page explains why fresh pressure matters. Quick footwork at the net needs grip on sand-dressed turf: Triay's own shoe line, the Elite 26V, or the wider women's padel shoes and padel shoes ranges cover that. The Bullpadel rackets page and the whole padel racket range show where to go next.

Bullpadel Elite 02 27 Padel Racket: questions people ask

Is the Bullpadel Elite 02 the same racket as the Elite Woman 26?

No. The 02 is a new mould for 2027 with a bigger 537 cm² face, a Total Channel frame and a firmer, less springy feel. The Elite Woman 26 was the last season of the previous mould.

Is the Bullpadel Elite 02 good for intermediate players?

Yes, for intermediates who already volley with confidence. Padelful pitches it at intermediate to advanced players, and the medium balance and 8.4 sweet spot score make it forgiving for its level.

Elite 02 or Wonder 27: which should I choose?

The Wonder is quicker and gentler, with more handling and less power. The Elite 02 has more head weight for bandejas and finishing. Defenders and touch players lean to the Wonder; all-court players to the Elite.

How do I protect a Bullpadel Elite 02?

Fit a frame protector before you play, keep it in a cover, and never leave it in a hot car, where the core and face can suffer. Check the protector every few weeks and swap it when it lifts.

How heavy is the Bullpadel Elite 02 27?

Bullpadel lists 350 to 360 g with a medium balance of about 25.5 cm on its own scale. You can add 3 g CustomWeight plates if you want more mass.

Can men use the Bullpadel Elite 02?

Yes. It is sold as a women's racket because of its weight and its player, but the head and length are full size. Any player who wants a light, quick, all-court frame can use it.
