Oxdog X Padel Pro Thermo Bag

£70

The Oxdog X Padel Pro Thermo Bag is a 42-litre, two-racket bag with a thermal compartment and a ventilated shoe section, built for a full training session or a tournament day rather than a quick trip to the club.

It's the largest and the only one of Oxdog's three X-family bags with a dedicated shoe compartment. The plain X Padel Bag and the X Padel Thermo Backpack are both smaller and skip the shoe section.

Built for a full kit, not a quick commute

Everything about this bag is sized for a proper session: 42 litres, a thermal racket compartment that holds two frames, a ventilated shoe compartment separate from the rest of the kit, and two side pockets for the small stuff. Oxdog's own retailer copy pitches it at training, matches and tournaments, and the layout backs that up.

What it isn't specific about is how you carry it. The brand copy says only "multiple carry options"; one retailer narrows that to hand or shoulder. Neither source confirms backpack straps, which the plain X Padel Bag does state, so don't assume this one wears on your back the same way.

Oxdog's three X-family bags, and why this is the biggest

This is the one to buy if you want everything in a single bag: both rackets kept near room temperature, shoes kept away from clean kit, and enough room for a full change. The plain X Padel Bag is a lighter, cheaper option without thermal lining for players who don't need it. Retailers also sell an X Padel Thermo Backpack of a similar size, and the three get confused in search results because they share a dark grey finish and near-identical branding.

One quirk worth flagging: some retailer pages quote 32 litres for this bag under the name "Ultra Tour", which is actually a different Oxdog model. Every source that names this exact Pro Thermo bag agrees on 42 litres, so that's the figure we trust.

This one is the full-kit option. *Retailers give 28L and 32L for the Thermo Backpack; we state both rather than pick one. The biggest and only one of the three with a shoe compartment. From totalpadel.com, mypadellife.com, teerico.com and esprit-padel-shop.com.

Who should buy it

Players who train more than once a week, carry a second racket as backup, or want shoes properly separated from kit after a sweaty session. It suits a carbon racket that benefits from the thermal compartment, such as the Oxdog Hyper Pro+ 2.0 or the Oxdog Pure Pro+. See every padel bag for sizes from every brand we stock.

Not for you if

You only ever carry one racket and a change of clothes, or you want backpack straps confirmed before you buy. The lighter X Padel Bag covers the first case, and neither Oxdog nor its retailers confirm backpack straps on this bag, so check before assuming you'll wear it that way.

What goes in it

The thermal compartment is the right place for a premium carbon racket; pair it with a padel racket protector fitted before it goes in. Keep Oxdog Gold Pro overgrips and a tube of Oxdog Boost+ in a side pocket, and use the shoe compartment for a pair of padel shoes built for sand-filled turf. Oxdog X Padel Pro Thermo Bag: questions people ask

Is the Oxdog X Padel Pro Thermo Bag the same as the X Padel Bag?

No. The Pro Thermo is bigger (42L against 32L), has a thermal compartment for the rackets and a ventilated shoe section, neither of which the plain X Padel Bag has.

How many rackets does the Oxdog X Padel Pro Thermo Bag hold?

Two, in a dedicated thermal compartment that keeps them closer to room temperature between home and court.

Does the Oxdog X Padel Pro Thermo Bag have a shoe compartment?

Yes, a ventilated compartment separate from the rest of the bag, which is the feature that sets it apart from its two smaller X-family siblings.

Can I wear the Oxdog X Padel Pro Thermo Bag as a backpack?

Oxdog's own copy only says "multiple carry options" and a retailer confirms hand or shoulder carry; neither source confirms backpack straps, so we can't say for certain either way.

What size is the Oxdog X Padel Pro Thermo Bag?

Sources agree on 42 litres and 28 x 55 x 37cm. A few retailer pages give 32 litres under the name "Ultra Tour", which is a different Oxdog bag, not this one.
