Bullpadel Indiga W 26 Padel Racket

£59.99

The Bullpadel Indiga W is the lighter, women's edition of Bullpadel's starter racket: round, low-balanced, 350 to 360 g, with Polyglass fibreglass faces over a SoftEVA core. It's built for new players who want something comfortable and easy to control from their first session.

It's 10 g lighter than the unisex Indiga CTR and a touch livelier off the face, according to Padelful's scores. It has very little power, which for a first racket is no bad thing.

Indiga W or Indiga CTR?

They're the same idea in two weights. The Indiga CTR 26 runs 360 to 370 g; the Indiga W runs 350 to 360 g. On Padelful's scale the lighter racket handles better (7.6 against 6.9), sends the ball deeper on a gentle swing (rebound 8.5 against 7.9) and controls it a fraction better (7.5 against 7.3). The heavier CTR gives back more power, 6.1 against 4.8, and their sweet spots are almost level.

So pick by build, not by the W on the throat. Smaller players, juniors moving up to an adult frame and anyone whose shoulder tires take the Indiga W. A bigger beginner who wants a bit more weight behind the ball will be happier with the CTR.

Bar chart of Padelful ratings for the Bullpadel Indiga W 26 against the Indiga CTR 26, with more rebound and handling and less power

How the Indiga W plays

Gently. Padelful's testers found a forgiving sweet spot, a comfortable feel on defensive shots and easy handling at the net, which is what a first racket should give you. The soft core and fibreglass faces flex on contact, so the ball comes off with a cushioned push rather than a crack, and the smooth face doesn't fight you on spin.

What it can't do is win points for you. There's little help on the smash, not much punch on a fast volley and no real finishing bite overhead. That's the honest limit of a 4.8 for power. Most players who stick at padel will want something with more in it after a season or two.

Scatter chart of Padelful power and manoeuvrability scores for the Bullpadel Indiga W 26 against the Indiga CTR 26, Indiga PWR 26 and Flow Light 2025

Bullpadel's starter rackets side by side

At the same 350 to 360 g, the Flow Light 2025 is the step up in comfort: Padelful scores its handling 9.0 and its sweet spot 7.6, both well above the Indiga W. Its 2024 edition, the Flow Light 24, scores the same. The diamond Indiga PWR 26 goes the other way, adding power at the cost of handling, and isn't a first racket we'd recommend. Shop listings don't fully agree on the Indiga W's numbers: Decathlon's marketplace gives 340 to 355 g and a medium balance, while Padelful and padelgids say 350 to 360 g and low. If the colours don't matter, the Indiga W 2023 is the same build three seasons earlier, and Padelful gives it a slightly bigger sweet spot (7.1 against 6.8).

Who is the Indiga W for?

First-season players, lighter adults, teenagers outgrowing a junior racket and anyone coming back to sport who wants a gentle frame. It isn't only for women; the head and length are full size, and the W simply marks the lighter weight. Our best padel racket for beginners, cheap padel racket and padel rackets for women pages list the alternatives.

Not for you if

You've already played a few months and want to start attacking, or you're a strong adult who likes some weight in the hand. The Indiga CTR adds mass; the Flow Light adds comfort and handling; a control padel racket with a carbon face is the next step once your contact is consistent.

Starter kit for an Indiga W

New players scrape the frame on the floor and the glass, so fit Bullpadel frame protection tape before the first game. A fresh overgrip makes any racket easier to hold: a 3-pack of white Bullpadel overgrips is a sensible start, and our padel grips page explains how to fit one.

A tube of Bullpadel Next is plenty for social games, and our padel balls page explains when a tube has gone flat. The Indiga 26I women's shoe matches the racket, and every pair on our padel shoes page grips sand-dressed turf better than running trainers. Bullpadel Indiga W 26 Padel Racket: questions people ask

Is the Bullpadel Indiga W the same as the Indiga CTR?

Very close. Both are round fibreglass rackets with a SoftEVA core and a low balance. The Indiga W is 10 g lighter, handles a little better and has less power, according to Padelful.

Is the Bullpadel Indiga W good for beginners?

Yes, that is what it is for. Padelful calls it a forgiving entry-level control racket for beginners and casual players, with a comfortable feel and easy handling.

Indiga W or Flow Light: which is better for a new player?

Both weigh 350 to 360 g. Padelful scores the Flow Light much higher for handling and sweet spot, so it is the more comfortable racket; the Indiga W is the simpler, more basic starter.

How long will a Bullpadel Indiga W last?

Fibreglass and soft foam are durable, so the frame will usually outlast the stage you buy it for. Protect the edges with tape, keep it out of hot cars and change the overgrip when it turns smooth.

How heavy is the Bullpadel Indiga W 26?

Padelful and padelgids list 350 to 360 g; one marketplace listing gives 340 to 355 g. Either way it is about 10 g lighter than the Indiga CTR.

Can men use the Bullpadel Indiga W?

Yes. The W marks the lighter weight, not a smaller racket. Any new player who wants a light, soft, round frame can use it.
