Which level is the Bullpadel Flow Light 2025 Padel Racket for?
By Tushan Das, Owner, Padel Depot · Updated
Flow Light isn't the Flow
The names cause confusion, so let's clear it up. Bullpadel's Flow and Flow Legend are Alejandra Salazar's rackets: 350 to 360 g diamonds with a high balance and a Fibrix face, built for attacking women players. The Flow Light shares the name and almost nothing else. It's round, low-balanced and made of fibreglass over soft foam, a club racket for learning and for comfort.
If you came looking for Salazar's diamond, the Bullpadel Flow Legend 27 is the one you want, or last season's Flow Legend 2026, which shares its specs. If you want something light and easy to swing, read on.

How the Flow Light plays
It feels light the moment you pick it up and stays that way through a long session. Padelful rates rebound at 8.4, so the soft core gives easy depth on a gentle swing, and the testers liked how well it soaks up impact. The round head keeps the sweet spot central (7.6), and control sits at a respectable 7.4.
The cost is power. A 5.1 is well below the other Bullpadel club rackets in the table below, and Padelful notes that it asks for some adjustment in swing timing: with so little mass, you have to swing through the ball rather than let the racket do the work. For a first season, or for a player who wins with placement, that's fine. For anyone who wants to finish at the net, it isn't.

Flow Light or Indiga CTR?
Both are round fibreglass rackets with SoftEVA cores and low balances, and both are honest first rackets. The difference is weight and hands. The Indiga CTR 26 runs 360 to 370 g and Padelful scores its handling 6.9 against the Flow Light's 9.0; it gives back a little more power (6.1 against 5.1). Lighter players, juniors stepping up to an adult frame and anyone whose shoulder tires will prefer the Flow Light. Bigger, stronger beginners will get more from the Indiga.

Is the Flow Light 2024 the same racket?
On paper, yes. Padelful lists the same shape, weight, faces, frame and core for both editions, and its scores differ by no more than 0.2 on any measure. The Bullpadel Flow Light 24 is on the site too, so pick on colour and price; you won't feel the difference on court.

Same specs, near-identical scores: the same racket in new colours. Padelful (scale starts at 4).
Who should buy the Bullpadel Flow Light?
New players who want a racket that's easy to move, lighter adults, juniors moving up from a children's frame, and returning players who want a gentle racket on the arm. Some shops file it under women's rackets, but nothing in its build is gender-specific; Tennisnuts simply notes the Flow range is popular with women and younger players. The best padel racket for beginners and control padel racket pages list the alternatives, and our padel rackets for women page explains what the light editions are for.
Not for you if
You already hit hard and want help finishing points, you're a strong adult who likes some weight behind the ball, or you expect to outgrow a beginner racket within months. The Ionic Light gives you a little more punch at the same weight; the Indiga CTR adds mass.
Kit to go with a Flow Light
A light racket twists in a sweaty hand, so start with fresh overgrips: a tub of 50 Bullpadel overgrips lasts a long time, and our padel grips page explains thickness. New players catch the frame on the floor and the glass, so fit Bullpadel frame protection tape early.
Club balls are fine to learn with: a tube of Bullpadel Next works well, and our padel balls page explains when a tube has gone flat. Proper padel shoes grip sand-dressed turf far better than running trainers. The Bullpadel rackets page, the full padel racket range and our guide to choosing a padel racket help with the next step.
